The Big Ballot

Hey, I'm still sort of new at this, so not sure if I'm using the talk page correctly, but just wanted to thank ya for figuring out that source was incorrect on a bunch of the Big Ballot results! I matched up the ones from the two articles I sourced with that wiki page, but just came across a new video on Youtube from the show, that directly contradicts both two of the results that were listed on the wiki page that you cited as bogus, so good call sniffing that out, and apologies for not doing better research on that source. My assumption that the entire page was correct because a few of the results matched up with print sources was foolish and wishful. It's so tough to find nuggets from growing up, but that's no excuse for dropping the ball on my research game. Haven't decided if/how to post partial results yet, but am gonna do some more research at the library and try to find some more print articles that have results in the recap first. Thanks again!. Hey there. First of all, thanks for helping out with all the pages. Don't worry with the 'incorrect info', I just saw the Wikia page being referenced and knew it was a site where people come up with whatever they want, but we're all still good. Anyways, onto the main topic: KCAs. I've actually recently started out a KCA Wikia page to attempt to document tons of KCA history, including pictures and videos that I can find. I've been doing quite a lot of digging, even finding the HQ intro videos from some of the mid 2000's shows on Vimeo (Pretty nice to have it in a good quality or at all!) I even managed to use Wayback Machine today and found the full-1 hour show of the 1988 Kids' Choice Awards, so that'll be good to have too (I'll upload it onto the Archive site sometime this week). I actually found a video from The Big Ballot with Madonna in it, I think one of the only videos I've ever found with footage from the actual show itself. As I find more info on each show, I am updating the Wikipedia pages (Such as the 1990 show, found commercials on YouTube telling the nominations but incorrect ones were listed on the Wikipedia page). Hoping to finally clear some of this up and have very accurate pages as more info is found. Finally thing, on my new KCA Wiki, I've created different categories that are titled "KCA XXXX" so I can easily add and find videos & pictures from each show, for example, here is what I've found from The Big Ballot. If that helps you to find info on the shows to help fix the Wikipedia pages, feel free to use it. Thanks again, and hope more progress can be made on this all. I noticed you removed sources from Paul Tibbitt and Vincent Waller. Since no other source is left, the problem is that they are BLPs and you put them at risk of BLPPROD. On SpongeBob...

So, I checked, and the U.S.C.O. Database (searching for: "Spongebob Squarepants") does have a lot of the SpongeBob production codes – it definitely has 100 thru 200, and then seems to have a smattering of 0 thru 100 and 200 thru 250-ish. Note that the two segments are listed as "one episode" there – e.g. "Spongebob Squarepants : 101, "House Fancy" "Krabby Road".", so there's not the splitting into "101A" and "101B" by the U.S.C.O. (Meanwhile, separately The Futon Critic has about 127–250 in its listing for the show.)

Long story short: The U.S.C.O. Database could be used to help "fix" the various SpongeBob "season" articles, by adding the prod. codes, and then reordering into the broadcast order. (As you pointed out, it looks like there is no support for the prod. codes used at The Big Cartoon Database, unless they are getting the prod. codes directly from the show's end-credits – so unless another source or the end-credits can verify these, they should be removed/replaced...) However, I would not even attempt this without, 1) advertising that you are going to attempt it at a lot of places (e.g. the SpongeBob Talk pages, WP:TV, WT:ANIMATION), and 2) have a number of editors aside from yourself as "on board" with the project. Because, without the latter, it'll just be use trying to hold back a flood of IP reversions, and it'll just end up burning you out...

Hi there, I did provide a source for that information. I've been going through that fourm reading the schedules, so that's where I got it from. A user named kanc usually posts Nicktoons schedules on that forum and I saw that some of the last air dates actually happened 1 day later than the previous day. As per your edit here, I have removed the 'Film' section from this article again – I fully agree with you that the live-action film has nothing to do with the animated series directly. IOW, the film is an "adaptation" of the series – it's not a "continuation" of the series. @IJBall: Yeah, I decided to just leave it after it was readded to avoid conflict. I also wasn't still 100% sure on it, (I sadly have yet to see the film myself) as other shows (Jimmy Neutron, SpongeBob, Back at the Barnyard) have their movies listed, but I was thinking along the lines that those were cartoons that had an animated film release- even if this was a "continuation" of the series rather than an adaption, would be a bit weird (at least for me) considering it is a live-action movie of a cartoon series. I wasn't aware that TV Passport was considered unreliable. The end date I added was based on the Canadian broadcast. The show was promoted as a 13 episode mini-series and Family Channel has since aired all thirteen episodes. I would've preferred you simply remove the TVPassport references instead of reverting the edit. You took out some additions to the cast list by doing that. Hello, the show has 2 directors. Alex Rudzinski did season 1, season 2 eps 1-7 and eps 10-13. Brad Duns directed season 2 eps 8 & 9. I feel that is a constructive edit?

I apologize- I was looking at the main credits at the end of the episode, not the beginning. I have restored Duns' name to the list. We also don't really need to specify what episodes they directed, just listing them as director is fine. However, the directors for episodes 9-13 of season 2 is still WP:OR as they have yet to air. Magitroopa, to me, this tweet from Nick looks like something we can finally use. But we need to be careful how we use it – it can't be "The series will end in early 2020", but instead will need to be something like "In December 2019, Nickelodeon advertised that the final episodes of the series would begin airing in January 2020.[tweet cite]" added to the 'Production' section.

@ToBeFree: Alright, what should be done instead? I was nice to the user and gave them a disruptive editing warning, each time going up to a level 4 warning by 1 level. If I immediately go to a level 3 or 4 warning, I'll be in trouble for not giving any prior warnings (like here), and I would probably get another, "You issued no prior warnings" if I go to the edit warring noticeboard after their second or third attempt. With no other users watching the page, seems like I just have to accept it and let the user go against as many policies as they want to. I attempted to let them know of WP:TOOSOON and WP:DE multiple times through warnings on their talk page and even a talk page discussion on why it is currently a redirect, and the only 'response' I ever got was their one edit summary, once again continuing to go against what I've told them/warned them about. The Masked Dancer

Hi, do you mind taking a look at The Masked Dancer (TV series). I blanked and redirected it to the spin-off section of The Masked Singer, but that was reverted so now I've proposed it for deletion with a tag given everything relevant is already in the subsection and I think it's just way too soon. @Heartfox: There's no AfD discussion to comment on (and I don't want to mess anything up, haha), so I guess I'll just put my reply here...? Anyways, definitely fails WP:TOOSOON, and in regards to the content you've removed, that would definitely be correct. Just because a celebrity from Masked Singer (like Jeong and Scherzinger) appeared as a panelist, or as a guest (like Hough and Mandel), does not automatically mean they will be a panelist or guest panelist on this new show, which would simply be WP:OR. As you've already pointed out, there is barely any info on it other than that it is a spinoff of TMS, DeGeneres is an executive producer, and that it exists. In regards to the TMS S3 thing recently going on, this would need more of a case to stay up, as there is currently no set host/panelists, premiere date, or even a premiere year.

Only thing I'm not sure about is what title the article should use. There is already The Masked Dancer (film), but I don't think any other countries currently have TMD as a series, so I'm not sure if the current redirect (The Masked Dancer (American TV series)) would even be the correct one to use, or if The Masked Dancer (TV series) is actually correct. But either way, most likely not enough info to warrant its own article at this moment. I'd say it's quite similar to the SpongeBob spinoff announced, Kamp Koral, which currently just redirects to SpongeBob SquarePants#Kamp Koral. All the content there was accurate by the sourcing, the named panelists was wrong because the source reported it incorrectly, I’ve removed it.

As the Masked Dancer is one of Fox’s most successful shows launched in the last five years, and Ellen a powerhouse herself, this is likely an IAR case to thwart the TOOSOON essay.

Reference spaces

Hi! I've seen a lot of times after I add a reference you delete the spaces between the last character and the |. I use the cite dropdown tool in the editor and that's the format it puts out. I believe it used to be no spaces, but was changed a couple years ago... I could be wrong though. Is there any reason I should be removing the spaces so you don't have to lol? Thanks. About It’s Pony

I was honestly trying to fix the page for the show because of a MOS:ACCESS issue on the episode list, like there is two 11-minute episodes that air the same day in the same time and I put them together into half-hour episode in the airing order because of that, but you reverted it because you think that it is not constructive.

So that is question, why do think that my edit is unconstructive?

@BaldiBasicsFan: See how episode pages like List of The Loud House episodes, Lego City Adventures, and The Casagrandes are formatted. They should only be paired up with their 'sister' episode if it's airing on the same date and has the same production code. For example, "Nosy Pony/Beatrice" today. In your edits, you've even changed them to "102A" and "102B", which is WP:OR as Futon Critic lists them as just "102"- A and B aren't specified whatsoever. And as I said before, if they aren't an A and B together, they should be separate, which is why "Unicorn" (103B) and "Plants!" (101A) are separated. We also currently don't know the production codes for "Game Horse" and "Heston's Coat", so until production codes are known and only if they are sister episodes, they should be separated. It's Pony episodes

All the episodes that are on the list have an airdate and verified plot. Why do you think you can remove it and wait till the airing. It is unnecessary and quite annoying. @Spuffy: The episodes need to air first, we don't go by 'sneak peek' full episodes released on YouTube. I also mentioned about the change from "1" to "20" episodes in the infobox, when there is a note clearly stating, "increment when new episode airs". @Prince Silversaddle: 8 weeks would actually be incorrect, there are 8 episodes, but only 7 weeks. The first two episodes would be one week together, then bumping each up (episode 6 is week 5, episode 7 is week 6, episode 8 is week 7). In terms for the second series (I'm American... so second 'season' in my terms :P), it seems to be more of a 'it is planned to' rather than a 'it will be returning in 2021'. A lot could change (cancellation, delay, bumped up, etc.), so it would probably be better to wait for an official statement/press release or for the production/filming of the series itself to get closer with more info. • For the name Studio 24 West, it's from https://sodorislandforums.com/thread/110/thomas-magic-railroad?page=32&page=

• For filming in St, Johns, Isle of Man, it's from https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0205461/locations

• For filming at the Ballasalla studio for the interior of Shining Time Station, it's from a website that got taken down, and I unfortunately don't remember the URL.

• For filming at the Flatiron Building in downtown Toronto, it's from this website: https://archive.is/NU4aN. It says "Toronto's downtown, in particular the Wellington Street East (E. of Yonge) was featured in a few scenes"; the Flatiron Building/Gooderham Building - which they end up going into - is in this location.

Sing-Along Special

I am wondering whether the Sing-Along Spectacular episode should be included in the ratings tables in the season article and episode article given Fox has now changed the production code from SP-2016 to MS-300 and it only includes season three performances. Hm, interesting. Hadn't noticed the prod. code change since I was just waiting on "The Mother Of All Final Face Offs" parts 1 & 2 to somehow update, since originally, Sharon's episode was supposed to air before Yvette's (and then for a period of time recently, both of the current pages of those listed Sharon as the guest panelist- still weird that their advertising is referring to this week as ep. #12 and the Super Nine episode was advertised as ep. #10- so part 1 is technically MS-313 and part 2 then is MS-312).

My guess is that the sing-along is now MS-300 as all the songs are, "selected from Season Three"- I'd still think it's considered a special, as it's not a regular episode continuing the eliminations/process of S3. We don't need to get specific about if each song is the 100% original artist or not... it's fine as-is. Again, different versions of songs exist. In this case, even if it is the Kravtiz version of the song, the Kravtiz song/version is still by Kravitz. Just FWIW

On diffs like these [1] where you're correcting the reference format, I'd just be a little careful to be calling it out in edit summaries as "Because it's apparently impossible to do it correctly". The original citation the user added is sufficiently complete to satisfy WP:V. Now if we were going for a Good Article, then we'd want to clean it up like adding the link to the website or cleaning out the title cruft, but that's more tidying up, not fixing errors. I'd just fix the citation format without comment, as this may, if you ever got into a dispute in the future, could come back to bite you.

If it were the case of the user just dropping a plain URL for the citation, maybe asking them to fill out a citation template repeatedly would be good, since that requires actual work. --Masem (t) 21:38, 16 April 2020 (UTC)

The Wiggles Movie

I would like to add some stuff to the "Production" section of The Wiggles Movie.

They say "This section needs expansion with: need production details, director Hilton Fatt (Jeff's brother), budget, filming and locations, special casting".

I would like to add and correct some stuff, but I should have approval before I can do so.

I found filming locations listed in the credits: Mentmore House Studios (which no longer exists, but was used for Frauds and Strictly Ballroom), Oatlands House, and Dame Eadith Walker Hospital (aka Yaralla Estate), with sound recording done at Studios 301 (credited as Max Studios).

They also say the film was shot in 5 weeks, yet IMDb gives out the actual filming dates: November 1996 to March 1997. That's 5 months, not 5 weeks (Although I remember you saying IMDb's not that reliable a source).

I figured I would ask for approval: can I add these?

I'm wondering why you have chosen to omit "The Masked Singer:" from the episode title of the sixteenth episode in the ratings table of the third season article and the episode list. Episode summaries must be expressed in your own words. Do NOT submit content you find from another web site as it is plagiarism and likely a copyright violation, which Wikipedia cannot accept and will be removed or reverted. Superficially modifying copyrighted content or closely paraphrasing it, even if the source is cited, still constitutes a copyright violation. Summaries should be about 100 to 200 words in length, per WP:TVPLOT, and those substantially less than 100 words are most likely to be scrutinized for possible copyright violation.

I was just fixing the goofs, but you keep on doing WP:DE on me. If the summaries on the first few episodes don’t follow WP:TVPLOT, they should be removed. If you don’t want them to be removed, will have a talk on this. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 22:32, 25 May 2020 (UTC)

No, you are disruptively editing. The notices are perfectly fine and do not need to be changed, they are like this on plenty of other articles as well. There is no reason to change them. As with this edit, you now seem to be getting into WP:IDONTLIKEIT. You are not 'fixing goofs' whatsoever.
