Request reason:
Dear Administrator; The new article I was creating has recieved significant coverage in reliable sources to merit a Wikipedia article . I understand what was done incorrectly as a result of my first effort to contribute to the Encyclopedia. I have re-read the policies and guidelines once again and promise to seek the advice & guidance of the community when not sure. With due respect to the blocking policies, I ask you humbly please restore the privilege to my user account Sincerely, Deanna Coakley
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:30, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 19:00, 29 October 2018 (UTC)
unblock discussion
Your edits to Category:Biography (genre) are troubling, especially as you returned after hours and even a day afterward in one instance, to add back self promotional material. Hence the "not here". The unblock requests reads to me as perhaps well intentioned, but somewhat vague. Please read WP:AfC. It may be you can be unblocked if you can tell us how that works ( in a nutshell ) and affirm you will use the WP:articlewizard to attempt further article creations. Please do not use the sandbox. New articles are best created in draft space. Just put Draft: in front of of the article name.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 19:09, 29 October 2018 (UTC)
Dear, Administrator Thank you for the advice about the draft. The reason I added back the category twice is I did not know any better. In a nutshell this is whst I understand regarding AFC
WP:AFC
(articles for creation) 1, Articles follow guidelines 2. Topic must be notable! covered in detail via good references from independent sources ie; NY Times ,Published books Magazine 3 WP is not a web host or business listing 4,articles which do not meet standards are deleted 5 Editor must have 4 days and 10 edits to create a full article to be submitted for review 6. You may also request a new article to be created by someone else 7. Non registered users may submit proposed article for creation through the AFC process it will be reviewed & considered

Request reason:
I should be unblocked because I fully understand I the reasons I blocked for ~1. Misuse of WP as web host. (A.) I posted content to ,my user space which I intended for experimental purposes that appeared as an autobiography.,rather It was a piece of an article I read concerning the male concert pianist I was trying to create an article about... I am 100% a female stay at home mother and an un-schooler I made errors in how I went about editing an AFC because I did not learn to use Wikipedia properly prior to editing on it. + .2.,Clearly not here to build an encyclopedia.(A) I have no self interest in promotion of myself or any business. I have studied AFC in an effort to learn the proper method of contributing in this manner & show the administrators by describing how it works in a nutshell in my previous unblock request. I will not continue to cause damage or disruption and will make useful contributions instead I affirm I will use the article wizard in any future attempts at creating an article. Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Deanna Coakley, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Draft:April M. Reign have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:38, 18 December 2018 (UTC)

Comments regarding Sinfonia Latina
Obviously I did not complete the "peer review" before your resubmitted it to AfC. I am still reviewing this submission, and will continue if you want. I'm still unclear if the article is about the concert as a social event, or if the article is about the musical work. Was it a series of concerts? The problem with the first source (laolacaribe.com) is that it was written by the event's producer, Mauricio Zapata. Therefore it isn't an WP:INDEPENDENT source. The first elheraldo.co source has largely the same problem, it is the producer and pianist who are talking about their own pieces. The second elheraldo.com source is independent, and seems to indicate it was a seminal event, but really only gives a passing mention of it. Anyway, I hope that helps. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 16:25, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
Sinfonia Latina is about both a concert and style of music.Deanna Coakley 16:41, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
- Ah well, that's part of the problem. Those are two distinct (albeit related) topics. Looks like you need two articles, not one. By any chance do you have access to contemporary (1970s) sources that review the concert? 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 16:47, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
I have included newspaper articles from el heraldo citations 1 & 2 please advise(Deanna Coakley 18:03, 31 December 2018 (UTC))
- It would be very helpful to have a date of publication for those. I think WP:REFB would be very helpful for you to review. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 18:11, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
Yes the publication dates are May 7,1976 for musico con mas talento que caballera and May 8,1976 Sin precidente articleDeanna Coakley 19:04, 31 December 2018 (UTC) Hello and thank you for your involvement I wantd To know if there is anything else I can do to assist Deanna Coakley 07:36, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
Comments for January 14
Thank you for your response at Draft talk:Sinfonia Latina. I don't really think the source is useful for the article. It doesn't seem to support any part of the sentence that the musical event took place at a "theatre under construction with public attendance beyond capacity and expectation", so it really shouldn't be used as a reference in the first sentence. It really shouldn't be used as a reference for the second sentence, because although the book may talk about what the "status quo" is, the book says nothing about how this concert contravened that status quo. Nor does the book state that this concert was the first time an "eclectic" group of people attended a concert in Columbia, it merely supports the idea that Columbia's population is indeed eclectic. Do you see where I'm going with this. The core principle here is WP:SYNTH. I hope that helps, and I'm going to keep looking at the other sources in hopes of building this article.
Regarding your note on my talk page, yes, I think that the composer's article is in need of expansion. Use sources that are WP:INDEPENDENT of the subject, and avoid things like his webpage etc. as much as possible. He is most certainly notable. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 22:37, 14 January 2019 (UTC)

Comments on April Reign
I cleaned up the article a bit, but in my opinion it will be rejected if you submit it in its current form. None of the references are valid: Goodreads, Amazon listings, Reign's blog of her travels. What's needed is references to independently written articles about her. David notMD (talk) 13:32, 2 January 2019 (UTC)

La Sinfonía Latina
Hi, Deanna Coakley. I took a look at your draft article, Sinfonía Latina. I noticed a couple of things about it which you might want to fix if you intend to submit it again. First, it repeats itself, which you may have noticed. There seems to be two identical articles there, laid end to end. Also, some of your idioms are not sensible in English. I also noticed that the article reads more like a review of a performance rather than an article about an event which happened 43 years ago. Take a look at articles which cover other musical events to find out how to present the material you have as history-changing. I think the Spanish articles you based your writing on were more nostalgic reminiscences rather than historical accounts from a historical, world perspective. Good sources for your article would be those from one to ten years following the musical event, including books. Good luck with your article.--Quisqualis (talk) 04:44, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
- I do not speak or understand written Spanish, and so can have no comment on the references. This appears to be an article about a one-time event in 1976. I do not get a sense of why it was important enough to be an article. A small thing: two of your refs are to Wikipedia articles. Better to Wikilink by putting [[ ]] around the titles of the articles. Your signature
Hi Deanna Coakley. After seeing your latest post at the Wikipedia Teahouse and looking a few of your other recent talk page posts, it looks like there might be something amiss with your signature. Are you signing your posts as explained in WP:TILDE? All signatures are required per WP:SIGLINK to contain a link to one of your user pages. Typically, when a post is signed using four tildes (~~~~
), links are automatically added to the user page and the user talk page of the editor making the post; your signature, however, has no links at all.
Sometimes when I editor tries to customize their signature, they accidentally check a box in their user preferences which removes these links. You can check to see whether you might have done this by mistake as well, by clicking on "Preferences" at the top of your user talk page, scrolling down to the section titled "Signature" and checking to see whether the box for "Treat the above as wiki markup." has been checked. If it has, just remove the check, and things should be fine. If the box wasn't checked or the required links still aren't being added to your signature (assuming you're signing your posts using four tildes), then there's something else wrong that might require some more digging to figure out. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:13, 11 June 2019 (UTC) Thank you I had no idea.Deanna Coakley (talk) 06:45, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
