Wishing you a Happy New Year for 2009!

I notice that this category you created is unpopulated (empty). In other words, no Wikipedia pages belong to it. If it remains unpopulated for four days, it may be deleted, without discussion, in accordance with Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#C1. I'm notifying you in case you wish to (re-)populate it by adding [[Category:Counts / Erfvoogds (Heritage-Bailiffs) of Erkelenz]] to articles/categories that belong in it.

I blanked the category page. This will not, in itself, cause the category to be deleted. It serves to document (in the page history) that the category was empty at the time of blanking and also to alert other watchers that the category is in jeopardy. You are welcome to revert the blanking if you wish. However, doing so will not prevent deletion if the category remains empty.

If you created the category in error, or it is no longer needed, you can speed up the deletion process by tagging it with {{db-author}}.

Sir David Graaff Hi Matthias, saw you contributed to this article. Good work! As a bearer of the Dutch name of Gr aaff (I'm Arthur), I would be interested to know about your sources and especially the link between the South-African Graaffs and the noble Dutch De Graeff family. My family tree runs to about 1736 and shows no clear relationship to De Graeff, although in those days spelling was very liberal and only since Napoleontic times etc. There is a Graaf f family in Germany, and they owned some train factory. (http://www.graaff-transportsysteme.de/) If you want to, you can mail me at wikipers (at) gmail (dot) com. Nice articles!

Good on you for making those articles in the pre 19th century individuals/places etc. We could use a lot more of those. :) Kind regards.Calaka (talk) 08:27, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo Donald1972,
In 2010 you wrote a lemma "Cornelis HrR Ridder de Graeff" here (en-wp). I changed the title to "Cornelis Andriesz de Graeff".
Furthermore i made some (in my opinion essential) additions and changes. I hope you can agree with my corrections.

Hello Bbb, I know that's it not right to have some more accounts on Wikipedia. The accounts get more over the years, mostly I used Donald1972 for uploading images and Brederode as a writing one. The third Artium72 is useless. If you like to unblock only one of my 3 here, I will vote for my old Donald1972 (since 2008). I've sent you a message via Wikipedia too, and would appreciate to hear from you. Thank you in advance --Donald1972 (talk) 11:00, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, these sources belong to the von Graben family page (and they are there), but not to the family tree, because they havent the sources of that family tree. --Donald1972 (talk) 20:03, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have noticed you are banned from editing Matthias Laurenz Gräff, and on a sock account you have uploaded his paintings as your "own work". This strongly suggests you are him, in which case you should not be shoehorning his paintings on any page you see necessary. Please read WP:PROMOTION and WP:SELFCITE. I have seen that on another of your accounts, you were warned by User:Beyond My Ken for inserting the painting of Norbert Gofer. I removed the painting of Sebastian Kurz for the same reason. This is an encyclopedia, not your Facebook wall to attack politicians. What would people think if pages like Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin were just crude cartoons? It is really not good that you have been warned before and banned, then you come back to reinstate the paintings removed in your absence, for no other reason than you want them to be there. Consider this a warning as I will consider finding an admin if you keep inserting your own biased cartoons back onto serious pages. Unknown Temptation (talk) 01:36, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also if - per your own Wikipedia article - you made a painting calling Kurz a "great dictator, opportunist, putschist", you should not be within one million miles of his Wikipedia article. Ever. Unknown Temptation (talk) 01:46, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
On reviewing your recent contributions I have put WP:COI tags on Dialog im Kamptal (your organisation) and Helmuth Gräff (your father). You were the creator and nearly the only contributor on both pages. If you have been on Wikipedia since 2008, you should know not to edit where you have a conflict of interest - especially as you have previously been indefinitely blocked for sockpuppetry on your own biography. Please read WP:NOT and remember I have a good case to bring this up with admins if you promote yourself, your family or your organisations again. Hey, I see you created Rainer zu Rain! I noticed some citation tags are showing as just text and have no citations associated. I assume you translated it from the German Wikipedia article? I've tagged that on the talk page, but those citation tags should be inserted with actual citations. Also, I did jump on this article pretty quickly so I don't know if you would've marked it on the talk page, but remember to note translations from other Wikipedias on the talk page with the {{Translated page}} template. Thanks! Skarmory (talk • contribs) 23:14, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Eggert family

I'm not seeing a case for notability regarding Eggert family, and as you know, translating an article from de-wiki is not a reason for us to retain this material. Eggert family moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Eggert family, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your edit summary (e.g. “translated from nl.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. I’ve added it for you. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Bicker family into Jacob de Graeff. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 13:34, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
