MGM Television is an American television production/distribution company that was formed in 1955 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Inc. Today, MGM Television a subsidiary of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Inc., an MGM company A Desilu Productions (1955-1967), A Division of Paramount Television (1967-1982) A Unit of Paramount Television (1982-2006), A Unit of CBS Paramount Television (2006-2009) and A CBS TELEVISION STUDIOS COMPANY (2009-present)..
From April 8, 2005 until January 17, 2006, Paramount Television assumed co-production and co-distribution of the MGM television libraries as CBS Paramount Television now CBS Television Studios.
