The following is a list of some towns and villages in Iceland:

10,000 – 100,000 inhabitants

(All of these except for Akureyri and Reykjanesbær immediately adjoin Reykjavík.) Keflavík is 30 miles west of Reykjavík.

1,000 – 10,000 inhabitants

Less than 1,000 inhabitants
