KRE-O is a line of construction toys (similar to Lego and Megabloks) manufactured by Hasbro. Kre-O has been announced to release in stores in Fall 2011,[1][2] although Hasbro started shipping out the first Transformers sets in early June 2011.[3] The creators of the toy franchise got the name "Kre-O" from the Latin word "creo", which means "I create".[4]

Kreo-O blocks are interoperable with Lego bricks [5], hence also interoperable with Mega Bloks [6].

Kre-O Transformers

Kre-O Transformers is the first line of all the Kre-O sets ever released. They were first shown at the New York Toy Fair 2011.[7]

$7 "Basic" price

  • Bumblebee - 75 bricks, can be built as a robot or a car. No Kreons included.
  • Optimus Prime - 90 bricks, can be built as a robot or a semi-truck cab. No Kreons included.

$10 price

  • Jazz - 90 bricks, can be built as a robot or a sports car. Comes with 2 Kreons, Jazz, and a driver.
  • Mirage - 100 bricks, can be built as a robot or a race car. Comes with 2 Kreons, Mirage, and a driver.

  • Prowl - 150 bricks, can be built as a robot or a police car. Comes with 3 Kreons, Prowl, and 2 drivers.

  • Ratchet - 200 pieces, can turn into a robot or an ambulance. Comes with 2 Kreons, Ratchet and a driver.
  • Sideswipe - 220 bricks, can be build as a robot or a car. Comes with 2 Kreons, Sideswipe and a driver.[8]

  • Bumblebee - 336 bricks, can be built as a robot or a car. Comes with 3 Kreons, Bumblebee, Red Alert and Driver.

  • Megatron - 310 pieces, can be built as a robot or truck. Comes with 4 Kreons, Megatron, Shockwave, and 2 drivers.
  • Starscream - 316 bricks, can be built as a robot or a jet fighter. Comes with 2 Kreons, Starscream,[9] and 1 pilot.

Kre-O Battleship

Kre-O Battleship will be the 2nd line of all the Kre-O sets ever released. They were first shown at the San Diego 2011. This set is based of the upcoming Battleship film. It will have army men, aliens, and military vehicles.

KRE-O BATTLESHIP OCEAN ATTACK Set ( $7.99/Available: May 2012) Keep the aliens from invading even the farthest depths of the ocean with the KRE-O BATTLESHIP OCEAN ATTACK set. Place the KREON combat diver atop the scuba sled and pretend to race along the ocean’s floor or use the sled’s two missile launchers to attack the KREON alien figure. Set includes two KREON figures and 66 pieces.

KRE-O BATTLESHIP LAND DEFENSE BATTLE PACK ( $11.99/Available: May 2012) An intense alien assault on a KREON military troop is right at any kid’s fingertips with the KRE-O BATTLESHIP Land Defense Battle Pack! KRE-O BATTLESHIP COMBAT CHOPPER Set (. Retail Price: $19.99/Available: May 2012) With the KRE-O BATTLESHIP COMBAT CHOPPER set, kids can pretend to take their missions to the skies. Construct the helicopter vehicle, place the KREON fighter pilot inside the cockpit, push the lever to spin the rotor, and launch missiles at incoming alien attacks! Includes 174 bricks, one KREON fighter pilot and one alien KREON figure with a twin turbine jetpack.

KRE-O BATTLESHIP ALIEN STRIKE Set ( $29.99/Available: May 2012) Pretend to battle the aliens alongside KREON Hopper just like the BATTLESHIP movie’s most intense scenes with the ALIEN STRIKE set. Kre-O future lines

At the NYCC 2012 and at Botcon 2012 they reveal the expansion of the transformers kre-O Quest for Energon. Expected to launch again in Fall 2012 right after the Kre-O Battleship line. And at the NYCC 2012 they also reveal the kre-O Star Treck, and they are expected to launch sometime in 2013 near the sequel movie of the Star Treck. And also hasbro are still talking about a possible Kre-O Gi Joe Line. No word when the Kre-O Gi Joe line will start.

Kreon

"Kreons" are super-deformed human and Transformer figures included in the sets, equivalent to Lego minifigures.
