Thank you for quality articles on films and TV, such as How Brown Saw the Baseball Game and A Song of Ass and Fire, for work on articles for deletion and reviewing new articles, for attention to detail and simplicity, for missing people, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

Bo (Obama)

Please see my notes on haircoat matters as relate to the PWD breed and this dog in particular. The scientific literature is clear on the subject. I can guide you to particular information on cutaneous adnexa (hair, horn, feathers)if you like, as the subject is frankly fascinating. Hiobazard (talk) 17:14, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I added the reference before I found that an article had been created. I should have gone back and removed it, thank you... :) --Scalhotrod - Just your average banjo playing, drag racing, cowboy... (talk) 00:08, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. GANs

Dude, you're really giving me a run for my money! Looks like I can't let or up, or I'll fall behind. (I see TonyTheTiger has the right idea: review your GANs, so you'll have to deal with those, to slow you down! Mwa-ha-ha!)

Seriously though, thanks for all you do for Wikipedia. I think we can all agree on what the real goal is for this GAN drive: making sure Edge3 and J Milburn have to pay big money due to their pledges! All the best, Quadell (talk) 20:10, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Brown film FAC

When you renominate your withdrawn FAC, let me know. Sorry I missed that one.--ColonelHenry (talk) 19:54, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, no problem. I'll probably renominate it sometime in January - if my schedule clears up I'll ask a delegate for an exception. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 19:55, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Archive.is

I notice that you reverted my old removal of a link to Archive.is. I totally AGF in your action (hence the thank you), but you may wish to read about that link, because it has a nasty history. Wikipedia experienced a truly massive unauthorized bot attack which added links to Archive.is, and the immediate reaction by many, including myself, was to start deleting them. That's why I did it. A concerted effort to deal with this emergency occurred, including the creation of bots to automatically delete them. An RF/C then dealt with their fate. This link takes you to a statement, and there you will find a link to the RF/C:

I'm actually surprised you succeeded in restoring it, since the link is now blacklisted. -- Brangifer (talk) 01:03, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't know that, thanks for telling me. (I thought it was an webcitation link Facepalm Facepalm) Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 01:07, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the 2014 WikiCup!

Hello Taylor Trescott, and welcome to the 2014 WikiCup! Your submission page can be found here. The competition will begin at midnight tonight (UTC). There have been a few small changes from last year; the rules can be read in full at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring, and the page also includes a summary of changes. One important rule to remember is that only content on which you have completed significant work, and nominated, in 2014 is eligible for points in the competition- the judges will be checking! As ever, this year's competition includes some younger editors. If you are a younger editor, you are certainly welcome, but we have written an advice page at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Advice for younger editors for you. Please do take a look. Any questions should be directed to one of the judges, or left on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup. Signups will close at the end of January, and the first round will end on 26 February; the 64 highest scorers at that time will make it to round 2. Good luck! 3RR reply

You left no note on my talk page. I left it myself, and then Derby continued on reverting. Get your facts right. Rusted AutoParts 05:45, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yeah, but you still can't go over 3RR. Plus, you've been blocked for edit warring before, so you are clearly aware of the guidelines. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 05:47, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't revert the same edit three times, that's the thing. I reverted him replacing Walker's pic twice. I reverted his readdition of the pictures, even when I specifically asked him to go to the talk page, twice. Then I hid the pictures. Deleting and hiding are not the same. And if 3RR means several different edits, that is unfair, as the same edit is not being continuously reverted. Rusted AutoParts 05:53, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Probably The Bold Bank Robbery, once my friend gives me back the DVD it's on and I can upload the film to Commons. But for now I'm gonna focus on creating more articles. There's lots of notable lost silents that need a filling in. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 17:40, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies for delaying so long, I've been able to shave a bit off the backgrounder off. That said, the context of this show is fairly crucial to its existence, so there was only so much I felt I could trim. -- Zanimum (talk) 20:57, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Good Articles December 2013 Backlog Drive

Hi everyone, I've noticed that a few of you haven't updated your totals as several reviews have passed but on the backlog page, it still says that the article is under review or on hold.

Please update your totals and continue to do so until February 1. If the status of a review is under review or on hold according to the backlog page, even though the article may have passed/failed, it will not count towards your final total.

For those that made pledges during the drive, the final donation amount will be determined sometime in February.

Thank-you.Sent by Dom497 using MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:17, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

FA congratulations

Just a quick note to congratulate you on the promotion of How Brown Saw the Baseball Game to FA status recently. I know you know all about WP:TFAR and the "pending" list, so this is just a reminder to use them as and when suits you. Many thanks. I've spotted you've already put it in the list at WP:TFARP, so you've beaten me to it, but if you've got any other suggestions between now and then, do pop by. Disambiguation link notification for January 24

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Club Havana, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grand Hotel (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
