A question

I just got to ask, are you trying to sell coins by listing them, their conditions and price in your sandbox? Or are you starting an article about collectable coins? If you are starting an article, please just don't copy things from websites. This time the text is from this site. - w.carter-Talk 21:02, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's good to hear that you are not using this site to sell things, it just looked a bit odd. :) The text is exactly like the one on the website, so more editors than me will make the same mistake. But in most cases it is the same with books, text should not just be copied. I understand that this is a grading system for coins, and it may be hard to write in "your own words", so you should put the fact about the book in a reference and then we will have to wait and see how much of this that the reviewer of the article thinks is ok to copy. Last chance

Since my last post above containing "...No harm in warning/watching/waiting....", you have edited your userpage 6 more times, created an article that was nothing more than copy pasted text, handed out a barnstar, and created a page that looks a lot like webhosting for some coins to be sold at ebay.

This is not going to turn into a half dozen productive editors all coddling you. Bottom line: Learn to edit, don't copy paste, stick to the mainspace. I've removed your ability to edit your userpage (not this user talk page) for a while for your own good.

You seem smart. I suggest clicking this a couple of times. Find an article you like and add a sourced fact. Then, do it again and again. Show us that you "really love Wikipedia" and should not be blocked per WP:NOTHERE and WP:CIR.

I've just invested 5 minutes in you. I won't invest more.

I felt that if that continued, either I or another administrator would decide that you are not here to build the encyclopedia, and block you. Your future at Wikipedia

This is atrocious. You've made 377 edits with only 10 in the mainspace. And, not a single one of those mainspace edits were constructive. So far, you have simply wasted our reading and keystroke resources. This must stop at once. If you make any edits that are not directly related to improving the mainspace, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. The only reason I am not blocking you now is because you've asked for mentoring from someone. So, no more socializing, commenting on how great an article is, guestbooking, userpage nonsense, rollback requests, or anything even like that. If you want to be here, work the mainspace. I don't know. I've asked for guidance on this one because I couldn't find reviews. Lots of the author Gary Paulsen's books have articles. I don't understand how Tucket's Travels fits in. There were supposed to be only 5 in that series. Anyhow, please read Wikipedia:Notability (books)#Criteria and then, if you still think it's notable, please contact User:Citicat and ask if it could be recreated. Overlinking

Hey Acj. I noticed in some of your recent edits that you have been putting in wikilinks to other articles, like on Khairpur village, Chakwal District, Neck creaking, Conservation technical assistance, and Saviniano Pérez. While we do want to link articles together, we don't necessarily have to link every article when that topic or word appears in, as this is considered distracting. You generally want to be more selective about what links you choose and try to judge the ones that are most likely to help readers understand the article they are currently reading. For instance, in Conservation technical assistance, linking to the Natural Resources Conservation Service is appropriate since this is one of their central tasks. It is hard to know what to link. I could link your WHOLE post above!... It's OK. Right, you could. But just because you can link something, doesn't mean you should. Don't all of those links feel a little distracting to you? It feels like I should be clicking on things instead of reading what is written, and it should be the other way 'round. This is a good guide for knowing what to link in an article. Hi AJ. I appreciate you being up front about your previous accounts, but your past editing behavior was a big problem, and it's not something you've answered for, at all. It was made clear to you on many block notices that the appropriate way to respond to being blocked was to appeal the block, not to wait a short while and then create yet another account. That is simply not OK, because it is dishonest. If you want to be unblocked, you will need to acknowledge and explain why your previous behavior was problematic, that you will not engage in making multiple accounts ever again, and above all, that you are here to build an encyclopedia. I understand that, but you need to be careful to follow the instructions given to you. All of your prior accounts were blocked indefinitely (as is this one), which doesn't mean forever, but it does mean you remain blocked until you make an appeal that satisfies the things I just described and an admin approves it. If you want use this account in the future, I don't see a problem with that.
