Dibor_Dighi (Bengali: দ্বিবর দিঘি ) in Patnitala, Naogaon District, Bangladesh (25°7'20"N, 88°37'13"E) is among the best known place in the District ofNaogaon and is one of the most important archeological sites in the country.
History
Travel
Sompur Bihar at Paharpur is about 110 Km road from Naogaon District. Iit will take about 2.10 hours to reach Dibor dighi by bus/taxi/private car if no major stops are made along the way. If one starts from Dhaka, the route shall be Dhaka - Savar - Chandra - Tangail - Jamuna Bridge - Bogura - Naogaon - Nazipur- Patnitala Bazar-Dibor dighi. The best way to tour the site is to first reach Naogaon and stay there.
