List of Virtual Console games for Wii (North America)
This is a list of games available for the Wii Virtual Console in the North America region. For a list of other regions see List of Virtual Console games.
The games are purchased in the Wii Shop Channel and require users to purchase Wii Points. Wii Points is the payment system devised by Nintendo for the Wii console. Consumers can purchase points by an online credit card/debit card transaction or by purchasing a Wii Points card at retail. These points may then be redeemed on downloadable games and other content in the Wii Shop.

Future releases
The following is a list of titles that have been announced or have received a rating by the ESRB.[2] Nintendo has announced new games and release dates through its press room site.[3] Sega has revealed dates for its games on its own site.[4] Hudson has revealed new titles and release dates through its forums and on its websites.[5][6] New games are added on Mondays at 12PM ET/9AM PT.[7]

Exceptions
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES costs 600 points, instead of the regular 500 for an NES game.
- R-Type for the TG-16 costs 800 points, rather than the normal 600 for a TG-16 game.
