Deleted Template

Hello Soham, I want to say that you have recently deleted my template 2013 indian films. It was so encyclopedic and useful for bollywood films that are released in 2013. Can you give me a reason why you delete it?

First of all don't post twice and sign them using ~~~~. Second, you've done what is called gaming the system which means you've tried to or have made inappropriate edits using loopholes in Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You created that template without discussing as a result of which Dharma tagged it for deletion. Now seeing it in risk of being deleted you added it in each and every single Bollywood film article with the theory The Template has been used by more than 100 articles of wikipedia. It should not be delete and The Template has been used by many articles in wikipedia. So it could not be delete which is no longer true because I have reverted all of them 'manually and have sore thumbs. Lastly the template has not been deleted yet, rest assured it will be.

That's impossible. This is pretty much it. The refs can't reach 100. The article has these many refs mainly because it was presented by The Hindu. Else, it would have been even worse. Because u managed to upload that cast and crew image for Gemini (2002 Tamil film) without much problem, I was wondering if u could do the same for this image to Mullum Malarum. Gender in English edit?

Hi,

I found a source for the edit I made: http://www.wisegeek.org/why-are-boats-called-she.htm

It also says that the origins are unclear, speculating that it could also be reverence for the woman the boat is named after (my edit only said that it was due to the Romance languages, which had "boat" as a female object). So rather than restoring my original edit, I'd prefer to add these two items, for greater clarity.

"controversy" sections make bad encyclopedia articles

I am not sure what your question actually is, but if you are wondering why I placed the tag that recommends "controversy" sections be deprecated and the content merged into other portions of the article as appropriate into a "controversy" section, it is because policies suggest that "controversy" sections make bad articles at least in part because unless the sources specifically identify the happenings as "controversies" Wikipedia editors should not be doing so and that as stand alone sections they bring a highlighted focus onto items that probably do not deserve to be highlighted and are more appropriately covered in the normal context of the article (and if they do not fit anywhere, it is likely that they are not actually relevant enough to the subject to be included at all) -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 16:24, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No I don't for now. It was just on my watchlist for some reason and I noticed this. One other nitpick I have is the use of super long ref names. Please keep it simple. I had to do a lot of rework on Sholay to your 3D edits based on multiple sources and confusing ref names that were the same as the article names. I don't think it needs any pictures for the 3D section. You will notice that there are no screen shots from the film currently. That's because the bar is very high for including non-free content on wikipedia articles. As of now there is not compelling reason to illustrate the 3D version. I know. But, IMO the images I have uploaded are better. In the Chandni images, there are folds. And in Naaraaz, the lamination is more prominently visible. I came across these replacement images he had made even while searching for alternatives. Happy New Year

So 2013 ended with many ups and downs, starting from the release of blockbuster movies, new OSs, gadgets, cars and bikes, improve in social networking etc to meeting new friends, improving our editing skills, forming new groups.

But it also brought sad movements like the death of Paul Walker, Nelson Mandela to Cyclones like Phailin, Haiyan etc.

Finally, I'd like to conclude that several ups and downs are must in every year but we must be fearless and have faith in divine.
