The 2016–17 season is AS Monaco FC's fourth consecutive season in Ligue 1 since promotion from Ligue 2 in 2013. They will participate in the Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, and the Coupe de la Ligue. After beating Fenerbahçe and Villarreal in succession, AS Monaco FC qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
