Country Hits Radio is a British digital radio station, and is owned and operated by Bauer Radio. It is available online and in selected areas via DAB.[1]

History

Country Hits Radio launched on 5 April 2019 and was launched as the UK's first national country music radio station.[2] The station is focused on modern country music and is aimed at listeners of 25–44. Country Hits' RAJAR for Early 2020 puts the station on an average of 257k listeners per week.[3] Country Hits is available on DAB in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Lancashire, Humberside, Tyne & Wear, Teesside, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Tayside, Inverness and Ayr.[4]

Programming

Country Hits Radio programming primarily comes from their studios in Castlefield in Manchester. From 5-8PM weekdays, the station takes networked programming from Nashville with Ty Bentli.[5]
