2022 New York gubernatorial election
The 2022 New York gubernatorial election will take place on November 8, 2022, to elect the Governor of New York . As New York does not have gubernatorial term limits, incumbent Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo is eligible to seek a fourth term in office. On May 28, 2019, Cuomo announced that he would seek re-election in 2022.[ 1] [ 2]
