Virginópolis is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Minas Gerais. As of 2004 its population is estimated to be 10,180. The city celebrates every year, in the end of October and beginning of November, its "Festival of Jabuticaba". It's a kind of very delicious and rare fruit that grows in the region. It's also the way the city found to have all the "Virginopolitanos" living abroad, meeting each other.
