Christmas elfs are more similar to [[pixie]]s and [[gnome]]s than modern fantasy elves. This misconception of elfs and elves being the same race is partially brought on by Santa's elfs being referred to as "Santa's elves" and "elves" in modern culture. This gives the two races the exacts same name. |
