Hatikva (Hebrew: התקווה, lit. The Hope) is a minor political party in Israel. A secular right party,[1] it is headed by Aryeh Eldad, currently a member of the Knesset for Moledet. Eldad has said that the new party is focusing on running for the next Knesset,[2] and may run as part of the National Union (as is the case with Moledet).

Formed in late 2007, it was officially registered on 9 December 2007.[3][2] Eldad has stated that the party needs 5000 members "to be legally qualified to raise up to NIS 2 million for each candidate running for party chairman".[2] Primaries for Hativka's Knesset list will be held three months before the next general election.[2]
