Kotla Surajmal is a village in Shahkot in Jalandhar district of Punjab State, India. It is located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from Shahkot, 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from Nakodar, 41 kilometres (25 mi) from district headquarter Jalandhar and 174 kilometres (108 mi) from state capital Chandigarh. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village.
