SOCOM presence[edit]

Gonna leave these links 123 here for now, about the SOCOM operators who were killed in Mali last April. Imagine this may become relevant to the story at some point, but not sure where it fits in yet.

New AFISMA members[edit]

Reports say that the AU has given it's members a week to send in troops, but i'm wondering, are there other countries that aren't listed in the belligerents section that are going to be sending troops? Because I've been looking up stories all over the internet and can't find one to add to the list. If there are, could you tell me which ones will, and the links to the stories that concern the countries' sending of troops?

Siege of Timbuktu lifted?[edit]

So, according to the latest map version, Timbuktu is no longer encircled, however I've seen no media reports of the siege being lifted. So who is to be trusted here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gorgedweller (talkcontribs) 11:34, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of casualties[edit]

Should we delete or heavily update the casualties section? Parts of it, like the MNLA casualties and especially Malian military, are over a decade and very much do not represent the war. I'm not too sure on the foreign casualties section, but I would also assume it's much higher. At the moment, the decade+ -old casualties aren't really factual and I don't think they should be put in the infobox unless updated. Jebiguess (talk) 22:09, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
