The result of the move request was: Not moved. There is no consensus for a move to Bono, and such a move would be inappropriate given that there is an article at Bono, and it is one of our most read. There is discussion regarding moving to Bono (footballer) - which is possible, though such discussion is unclear and inconclusive. If people feel that Bono (footballer) is more appropriate than Yassine Bounou, then a new move request can be opened. Comment Difficult to view this as a good faith nomination with the claim that he's the most famous/notable person with the name Bono. However, it seems there may be good reason to move the article to Bono (footballer). S.A. Julio (talk) 18:51, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
A quick search shows "Bono" is used quite frequently ([1][2][3][4][5][6][7]), and he also wears it on his kit for Morocco and Sevilla. Not sure if it surpasses "Yassine Bounou", but "Bono" is more than just an alternative name. S.A. Julio (talk) 21:56, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, it's used, but not a lot more so than his full name, and not enough to justify the useage of a parenthetical because of NATURAL. Ortizesp (talk) 15:36, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support Bono (footballer). Clearly not more famous than the U2 singer, or Sonny Bono, or even lawyers working pro bono, but it's evident that sources refer to him by the nickname more than the legal name. No different to Cafu, Pepe, Deco, whatever. 84.65.199.217 (talk) 21:30, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. he's the most famous/notable person with this name. I can only assume you're either joking or spectacularly unknowledgeable about anything other than football! Bono (footballer) would be okay. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:49, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
