Tamara van Ark

Tamara van Ark (born 11 August 1974) is a Dutch politician and former civil servant and management consultant. As a member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie) she has been an MP since 17 June 2010. She focuses on matters of long-term care (special health care, home care and quality of life).

She was an alderwoman of the former municipality of Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel from 2004 to 2010 and also and alderwoman of its successor the municipality of Zuidplas in 2010.

Van Ark studied public administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
