Amberol is a music player for the GNOME computer desktop environment. It is described by the developer as "a music player with no delusions of grandeur".[1]
It only plays music files locally on your computer, not from music streaming services.
It is a part of the GNOME Circle program.

Amberol supports most mainstream audio formats. It displays audio metadata, time passed and time remaining.
It includes an ReplayGain implementation.
