Versace Comment[edit]

Dear Coffeedrinker115, Thank you for your edits about Blackstone and Versace. I was in the process of adding the text to the Blackstone article and noticed you did a very good job. Please would you help me turn the article about Versace into a non-ad and into a real and informative article. Currently, it reads like an ad. Please see my contribution history for samples and templates. Thank you in advance. Geraldshields11 (talk)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Vallourec may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s and 2 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Help with Verizon Communications article?[edit]

Hello Coffeedrinker115, I'm reaching out to you as you recently made some updates to the page for Verizon Communications. I'm an employee of Verizon, and here on Wikipedia looking to make some improvements to that article. As I have a conflict of interest, I don't make any edits directly. Instead, I post suggestions and ask volunteer editors to take a look at what I've written and, if everything looks okay, ask them to move the material over into the article. I've recently drafted a new, more thorough version of the "History" section for Verizon Communications in my userspace. I posted a note with some details about my draft over at Talk:Verizon Communications. Do you think you might be willing to take a look at this draft and, if it looks okay, move it over into the article, replacing what is currently there? I'm also open to any comments or questions you might have.

Thanks so much, VZBob (talk) 18:41, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Olivier Brandicourt has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. smileguy91talk 15:41, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

BLP issues[edit]

Hi,

Thanks for working to improve the Silk Road (marketplace) article. Just a quick heads up, though, about Wikipedia's WP:BLP policy. There are much stricter rules for what we can and cannot include when talking about living people. The specific issues I noticed here are mentioning their names in connection to a crime they have not been convicted of and citing court documents as evidence. The WP:BLPCRIME, WP:BLPNAME, and WP:BLPPRIMARY sections of the BLP policy have some more information here. I kept the sources you added and the general idea behind what happened, but rewrote it and added it to the broader History section. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 23:09, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. copyvio on Cdiscount - maybe minor[edit]

Hi,

I saw that you put a translation of the French version of Cdiscount article, without attribution. It may be a minor issue, but your help would be welcome to fix it. I created a discussion on the article talk page, I think it would be useful to explain how you translated the article. (If only the attribution to the French Wikipedia is missing, that should be solved easily).

Deletion discussion about Renaud Dumora[edit]

Hello, Coffeedrinker115,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Elmidae and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Renaud Dumora should be deleted. Your comments are welcome over Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Renaud Dumora .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Elmidae}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Peter Sheridan Dodds[edit]

Hello Coffeedrinker115,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Peter Sheridan Dodds for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
