Tape Club Records
(Hannahdonovan1991 (talk) 16:40, 27 March 2013 (UTC))
Hello! I am trying to create a page for record label Tape Club Records. When I went to create the page a red box appeared saying that that page had previously been created then deleted.
Here is the message:

It has suggested I contact you before creating the page again, so hey!

Sorry.
Sorry for that, i will ignore when he writes about something that doesn't have anything related to our discussion, but how can we fix this? the page can't just stand with half of the information and half of the sources deleted for no reason, it won't happen again, can we please continue and get done with our discussion on the talk page? the guy deletes neutral sources and information just because he doesn't agree with it, that's just childish. --HistoryofIran (talk) 19:00, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello. I see you recently nominated this article for deletion using the WP:BLPPROD process. I have contested your proposed deletion; BLPPROD is only meant for biographies with no sources at all, but this article contains two sources, listed in the External Links section. I've taken a look at them (using Google Translate for the Arabic language source) and though not perfect, together they appear sufficient for our purposes. Robofish (talk) 14:48, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

House season 1
I noticed that House (Season 1) was changed by an IP address, that wasn't malicious in intent, but it completely destroyed the table of episodes and then they edited it again and so I can't undo it. I know on Mario wiki high-up users have rollback privelages that can undo multiple edits, could you do this please? Yoshi58724 (talk) 18:30, 10 May 2013 (UTC)

RE: May 2013
I found that information out on their filmographies on their respective pages and also checked it on the episode page as well, so I personally think that both of those are justifiable sources of information to be used, but correct me if I'm wrong, however, none of the other guest stars have justifiable sources for them. Yoshi58724 (talk · contribs)

Shia Rights Watch
Hello Mufka,
I recently remade a wiki page for an organization called Shia Rights Watch. I understand that the last time a page was made for this organization, it did not fulfill the notability requirements. However, since then SRW has been discussed in numerous independent, credible sources, including news articles in which SRW was referenced and numerous articles that discuss some of SRW's publications and reports. These links have been attached to the page.
Thank you for your time and let me know if there is anything else I can do to get the page undeleted.
- User:Jasonbenitez 10:48 (UTC) 7 June 2013
- The new version that you created appears to be worse then the first one. Primarily because much of the content is lifted directly from the organization's web site. I'd suggest that you start from scratch and attempt to create a new page if you feel it should be included. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 18:08, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

Source
The source for the Prince of Ning rebellion event is on page 48 of Ming China, 1381-1644: A Concise History of a Resilient Empire and is cited on the Prince of Ning rebellion article. Placing it in June 10 was an accidental mistake, but I have corrected it to the right date, July 10.--Taiping Tulip (talk) 11:52, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
- There were two issues in this case. First, when you posted to June 10, the link to the article was broken so I thought it didn't exist. None of the other links lead to an article that supported the event. Second, your first sentence above indicates a misunderstanding for the sources required for an event to be listed on a date page. All support for included events must come from linked articles, not external sources. Read WP:DOY for more. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 11:58, 18 June 2013 (UTC)

Why no block? It is clear the user is a vandalism-only account and they are blocked without warning. If there were a couple "good edits" in there, then a warning may be warranted, but the user's edits are clearly vandalism. So, why no block? - Neutralhomer • Talk • 21:14, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
- I felt generous. No edits since a warning was given, so no need to block. Who knows, this might turn out to be the next Neutralhomer. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 22:53, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
- If the latter is the case, they are off to a VERY rough start since my first three edits were two good edits to radio station pages and one to a user explaining a change I made. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 00:35, 5 July 2013 (UTC)

Hey,
Would you mind just taking a second look at this for me? I agree that the username is wrong, but looking at the page it seemed like an article about a company. - My thought was that it was created by a SPA/Promotional account. Using TNT seemed appropriate. Claim of notability seemed weak and unsubstantiated. By all means, restore it and clean it up. I have no objection. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 23:03, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

Blocked user sandbox
Hi - I asked the person behind User:USTTestAccount to create a draft of an article on their sandbox for review due to COI. Unfortunately they created an account that violates WP:U, which got them blocked. Can you userify the deleted contents of their sandbox to a subpage under my account? I will advise them about the issue with the username, and whether the draft is too spammy, etc. Thanks in advance. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 17:22, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

Rothschild conspiracies
Seriously, take a look at Talk:Rothschild family#Wording of the lede. How am I supposed to deal with this? IP is talking of some Templar Freemason conspiracy bullshit and trying to establish his own definition of "court Jew", which—and this is what pisses me off the most—doesn't have anything to do with his edit, which does nothing but messing up the article's content. He just split up the first sentence of the article, which are now two half-sentences, void of any meaning ("As court Jews to the Landgraves of Hesse-Kassel, in the Free City of Frankfurt in the late 18th century." What is that supposed to mean?).
Now, please tell me what to do? I asked for 99.195.110.214 to be blocked, and was denied. I asked for Rothschild family to be semi-protected, and was denied. I tried to revert the non-sense edits on my own, and got a 3RR warning from you. So what now? Do I have to surrender, because some troll is more persistent? --bender235 (talk) 22:34, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
- I see that the IP change was a poorly crafted cut/paste so I've reverted it. Since the IP reverted again, I have blocked it. Let's see how it goes. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 23:13, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. But will IP be able to reply on Talk:Rothschild family#Wording of the lede now? --bender235 (talk) 09:56, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

October 7th Edits
The October 7th Recall Election in California was a major event with sufficient coverage. I don't know why you think it's a non-notable event. Next time please discuss it first on the Talkpage first before making any changes. Thank you. TheGoofyGolfer (talk) 03:34, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
- This event is notable in California, not the rest of the world. It doesn't meet WP:DOY. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 09:27, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
- It does, If it didn't then why does it have its own Wikipedia article? Again significant coverage was not only provided and sourced from California it was throughout the United States and worldwide primarily because of the political implications and ramifications of a sitting California Governor being removed from office which has never happened before. Also given the fact of the sheer number of candidates running for this one election and prominence of notable candidates. I believe I've made my point so please leave it be. Thanks. TheGoofyGolfer (talk) 16:06, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
- Being the subject of an article does not establish the notability required per WP:DOY. This is of local notability only, perhaps national. It has no global notability. It's interesting and newsworthy, but not notable in this context. These types of things likely happen frequently all over the world. But they have no global impact. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 16:11, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

Normally I'd just delete the page and block, but it was a school, so I thought I'd see where it went and maybe help the user pick a new name. Your deletion and block is fine with me. Abusing multiple accounts? No.
Why are you asserting me to be abusing multiple accounts? My ISP issues random IP addresses, that can change mid-session, depending on signal strength, I have no choice but to use multiple addresses. 212.183.140.59 (talk) 10:23, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- Stop the dynamic IP nonsense. You're not fooling anyone. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 12:16, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

- Which IP you're editing from is only part of the puzzle. What you're editing and how completes the puzzle. Instaban of Ryan032sucks
Just wondering why I only see one single edit by User:Ryan032sucks. It was certainly egregious vandalism, but he was immediately blocked. Isn't that unusual? Aren't there certain escalation procedures, a series of warnings? 76.21.5.244 (talk) 10:16, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- Judging by the username, this individual is not here to contribute in any way other than maliciously. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 10:18, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
No, that is not an acceptable reason. If there is no other history on that individual, other than a questionable username and a single malicious edit, we need to reverse the User:Ryan032sucks ban, no matter how much I detest vandals. 76.21.5.244 (talk) 10:33, 9 August 2013 (UTC)

Fonejacker page
Hi Mufka,
I wanted to update the Fonejacker page to correctly credit myself as co-creator, co-writer and co-director of the show. Kayvan has always very sparing with his comments about my involvement but I did find relevant citations on the director's commentary of the pilot episode on the Fonejacker series one DVD. I've picked out two quotes below which are relevant. If you can suggest a better way to use these quotes as citation in the article then I'd appreciate any suggestions.
02:28 Ed Tracy talks about hearing Kayvan's audio recording of his prank calls for the first time... Ed : Once I'd heard that cd. We all sat round and it was the funniest thing I'd ever heard so I thought "if you put that on TV you're gonna make a million dollars" Kayvan : Yeah (laughs) Ed Tracy : So a few months later I started making the Getaway… Kayvan : No, you made before that. Dimitri was the first one. Ed put the whole thing to stills. I thought it was wicked. And he just started working on The Getaway (a prank call featured in the pilot episode). It had mouths moving and stills in there and I was like "Wow". So me and Ed sat down for three days and three nights and just obsessively just worked through it.
12:11 Kayvan talking to Ed Tracy about the two of them making the pilot episode together... Kayvan "It was just me and you. It's so weird now to think back because of course doing a series you can't do that. You can't just have two people".
Mufka - I am suggest amending the second paragraph to reflect my involvement in the show's creation and production. Here is my suggested wiki update :
In 2005 Kayvan Novak and Ed Tracy created Fonejacker, a prank call show, as part of Comedy Lab for Channel 4.[1] After co-writing and directing the pilot together [2]they were given a Christmas special and a six-part series which began airing in the UK on 5 July 2007 on E4 and lasted 6 episodes. They went on to make a second series which began airing on 17 September 2008 on E4, and started on Channel 4 on 6 November 2008.[3] Kayvan Novak said that he was "not sure there will be a third series of Fonejacker" but despite this, several websites reported in October 2009 that a third series would air in May 2010.
Cheers
