Typo redirect The dance of death

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on The dance of death, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because The dance of death is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting The dance of death, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 17:21, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

Hi. Great work on expanding the GRID2! In case you haven't already seen this, check out the template filler tool. Given a PMID, you can quickly create a fully formatted {{cite journal}} template that can be directly copied and pasted into a Wikipedia article. Using this tool will save you a lot of work and insure that citations are displayed in a consistent way. Cheers. Boghog2 (talk) 19:37, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Henry IV of France. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Evb-wiki (talk) 14:04, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Celia of the seals, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.sing365.com/music/Lyric.nsf/Celia-of-the-Seals-lyrics-Donovan-Leitch/1A4294F51C1091D948256D97000D6148. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 18:59, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Celia of the seals requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Kicking a Dead Horse has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No assertion of notability given

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Alex Johnson. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. CutOffTies (talk) 20:39, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I noticed that you have recently added links to various YouTube videos on several NFL-related articles. I just want to let you know that not only do these YouTube violate Wikipedia's WP:ELNEVER guidelines (because they were recorded and posted without the express written consent of the NFL), but it also increases the chances that the league will notice them and then issue takedown notices to YouTube.

The NFL is notorious for cracking down on YouTube videos.

I find it no coincidence that less than 48 hours after you posted those YouTube links on the 1968 Atlanta Falcons season and Lee Calland articles that YouTube was forced to take down that video and suspended that account. Thank you for your cooperation. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:27, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of plays in English on the Internet has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Intentionally and by nature a WP:LINKFARM. While it is potentially useful in user space or even project space, this does not belong in mainspace.

Please don't keep adding that self-published play to De Salle article

[edit]

Neojacob, that play is one of hundreds of thousands of self-published works. It is not noteworthy, unless it is performed or reviewed. If you can show that the play has garnered at least one review in a reputable publication (Times Literary Supplement, say, or New York Review of Books) then it would be appropriate to link to it. Otherwise, no. Zora (talk) 18:00, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notable players

[edit]

Will you stop adding those "notable players" to CFL entries. Its sort of stupid and useless, but most importantly, its fluff that has nothing to do with the subject player of the article. It looks bad too.

My Lord, you have to stop ruining CFL player articles. Your edits add useless info and read like bad advertising copy. What are you thinking? You are bad writer, don't make things worse.

Its people like you that give wikipedia a bad reputation.

One suggestion for List of Canadian plays is to list only plays or authors that have an article already. The article is becoming rather long and its doubtful that many of these plays are notable. --Wtshymanski (talk) 15:05, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Canadian plays (P–Z), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Squawk and Separate Beds. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
