Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Coxs Bay, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Waitemata (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy delete request

Hey there. Thanks for providing the proper speedy deletion criteria. I couldn't figure out which one made the most sense, and didn't find one for "unlikely search term". I think what happened here (applying good faith) is someone wanted to set up an article about the various New Super Mario Bros. games from DS up to Wii U, but they should have done it in their user space. That said, the games mentioned were just rehashings of the Mario Kart games (like New Super Mario Bros. Double Dash!!, for example). --McDoobAU93 01:09, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

Yeah. Thanks for the note, however the speedy was declined again (and the article semi-protected). I've posted a section at WP:VG about the issue, though. Thanks. ~satellizer~~talk~ 03:30, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

Would this be a canadate for a speedy deletion given it is nonsense and lacks any real importance? - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 23:28, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Not really, I guess. It's obvious that this page doesn't belong on Wikipedia and will get deleted one way or another, but it doesn't seem to meet any of the speedy deletion criteria, unfortunately. ~satellizer~~talk~ 05:01, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

Thank you too!

No problem, I'd start articles like that more often, but it seems like with more mainstream games someone always beats me to the punch, or I feel there's not enough known to warrant an article right away. Guess I got lucky with that one. And thank you for always expanding out my refs. I really do appreciate it. I'd thank you more often but I feel like I'd sound like a broken record considering how frequently do it. Thanks! Sergecross73 msg me 21:36, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Animal Crossing Jump Out Boxart (Japanese).jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Animal Crossing Jump Out Boxart (Japanese).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:16, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

please hold on speedy deletion

Carlisle School District (Arkansas) is a stub, one that is going to be revisited. These stubs are better than red links. The fight over the deletion is going to take a lot longer than just hitting the web site provided in the link and adding the data you would consider sufficient. Some words of encouragement

Hi Satellizer! I'm not familiar with your work, nor did I participate in your RFA, but I thought I'd stop by to give you a little encouragement and hopefully brighten your day. An unsuccessful RFA is not a pleasant experience. You seem like a pretty nice guy, which is why I think you'll continue to do great things here. You've got a great attitude and the right mindset. Heed the concerns of editors on your RFA and work hard to build and maintain the encyclopedia, and you'll pass easily next time. Please don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page if you need anything. Take care and absolute best of luck to you. Regards, Tyrol5 [Talk] 03:41, 24 February 2013 (UTC)

Thanks. To be honest, I never really expected the RfA to pass; it was more of those "nothing to lose but all to gain" moments, although I was a bit hasty. Thanks! ~ satellizer ~~ talk ~ 08:38, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
Many thanks, both for the !vote and the advice. :) ~ satellizer ~~ talk ~ 09:32, 24 Februar

Hi Satellizer, I was not very happy with what you did after i have edited to page of Premont Texas. In the Education tab, i changed it because there is only two schools now! So after i changed it and took time to do it i was actually angered that you did this! I also added a band and mariachi section to open a broad variety of options for people to see! Premont ISD actually does have one of the best music programs in Texas. So with anger -User! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.20.66.77 (talk) 06:05, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

I guess you're referring to this, right? Firstly, I apologize for not providing an explanation for my edit; I looked at the first paragraph and naturally assumed your edits to be unconstructive, hence my use of rollback which I admit was not appropriate there. Secondly, you didn't just add the information that you said you did - you also removed useful content from the introduction, braking the page in the process. Thirdly, the edits you made did not adhere to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. Additionally, please add a new section to a talkpage for a new issue and sign your posts. Thanks. ~ satellizer ~ talk ~ 10:13, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

Altered speedy deletion rationale: Shaitan - A Criminal Mind

Hello Satellizer. I am just letting you know that I deleted Shaitan - A Criminal Mind, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. SmartSE (talk) 00:21, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

Thanks! It seems like nonsense to me, as I had no idea whatsoever what that page meant, or what the subject is (and I still don't), and the text didn't make sense, either. But I guess A1 works better in this scenario. Thanks. ~ satellizer ~ talk ~ 00:26, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

My Changes Reverted

Fair enough, Snake and Martin aren't notable. But what makes Mona Simpson so notable to have her own wikipedia article? She has appeared in far less episodes then many of the characters listed in the recurring page.--Anotymous (talk) 08:04, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. Wikipedia doesn't judge notability based on the number of appearances a character has, but rather by coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject. Thus, as Mona Simpson has received more coverage (as shown by the reception and references sections), she is, based on Wikipedia guidelines, more notable than the other characters, such as Snake or Martin.
