School

Dude, i've seen you with your gf around school. RC-0722 20:29, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Well, I saw you with some girl the other day. She had sort of blonde hair, kind of (but not quite) korean looking, very pretty. I just assumed she was your girlfriend. Um, like my main page says, I'm not very popular. And besides, I'm not really the kind of face you'd remember. RC-0722 05:32, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

I think she's in my science class. RC-0722 18:36, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

I think her name is allice. But I definitely saw you thursday. RC-0722 19:13, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I've been here about a month. RC-0722 01:30, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

beavercreek, OH. I really didn't care if we moved, cuz I wasn't very popular there either. RC-0722 15:56, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

yeah, i'm a sophomore. My name's peter, but most of my family calls me pete. What's your name (or is just tommy)? RC-0722 20:38, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

That girl, Allie, does she have a myspace and/or facebook? RC-0722 02:05, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Are you saved? RC-0722 (talk) 05:07, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Regarding removal of a comment on Talk:GameWinners.com

Please do not remove other people's comments. Some might consider it vandalism. --Mitaphane talk 19:18, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Ah, sorry, I didn't realize as I was making a comment, I also deleted some. Tommy 17:01, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Question

When reverting vandaliszed pages, is there some sort of special message I should put as a summary of the edit? I've seen some people do custom ones, but was wondering if they actually typed it all out, or if there was some sort of template. If there is, can you direct me to it? If not, can you explain how to do it, or is it simple wikicode? Thank you. Signed by Tommy (Talk/Contribs) 15:30, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Some people just type "rv" or "rv vandalism". Some use WP:TWINKLE. Others use other tools. Xiner (talk, email) 15:55, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Edit Counts

{{helpme|I'm having trouble figuring out how to count how many edits I have. Many users know off-hand how many. Is there some sort of tool available to check, or is it listed somewhere? Thank you! Signed by Tommy (Talk/Contribs) 17:51, 16 July 2007 (UTC)}}

Counting edits is done using tools; see Wikipedia:WikiProject edit counters for a full list. The fastest counter is the server's internal counter (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/query.php?what=contribcounter&titles=User:Tommyboy1334 to count your edits); this isn't very detailed, but if you just want to know how many edits you have it's fastest and doesn't produce a lot of server load, unlike most other counters. Interiot's Tool1 (http://tools.wikimedia.de/~interiot/cgi-bin/Tool1/wannabe_kate?username=Tommyboy1334&site=en.wikipedia.org for you) is a popular counter, and doesn't need to be installed. I have also written an edit counter, which does require installation on your Wikipedia account; see User:ais523/editcount for instructions on how to install it. Hope that helps! --ais523 17:59, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Your Sig

Hi, can you please change your signature, Images are not allowed in signatures. May I suggest using a Unicode Character like this ☺ instead. --Chris  G  08:30, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

In answer to your question "why you, a member, is telling me to change it" because it get very annoyed when Wikipedia goes down and it annoys me even more when I see people putting unnecessary strain on the severs. I am also disappointed to hear that there are admins doing this, I believe it is understandable for a non admin not to know about this but an admin should know this. --Chris  G  03:19, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Fair use disputed for Image:Hcseal2.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Hcseal2.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:29, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Your VandalProof Application

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Qwazywabbit. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that: you don't have at least 250 mainspace edits. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. Snowolf How can I help? 01:50, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Non Free Files in your User Space

Hey there Tommy Boy, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free files are not allowed in the user or talk-space. I removed some files that I found on User:Tommy Boy/ipod touch. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

  • See a log of files removed today here.

Hello WikiProject Space member! A discussion has been started regarding the future of WikiProject Space here; any comments you might have would be welcome! There are mainly two competing ideas:

  1. Centralize all the Space-related WikiProjects, such as Astronomy and Spaceflight, and merge them into WikiProject Space, or
  2. Separate the Astronomy and Spaceflight "sides" of WikiProject, and remove WikiProject Space.

If you can think of other options, that's great too. Your contribution to the discussion would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)

File permission problem with File:06 grad05 2.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:06 grad05 2.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Logan Talk Contributions 08:53, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
