  1. EricSerge (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email), I meet the requirements and can utilize Fold3 as a resource in editing military history articles. Approved
  2. Smallchief (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I've created and edited many articles on the military history of Native Americans. I've recently begun working on Vietnam War articles. I compiled about 13,000 edits on nearly 1,000 articles. Approved
  3. Innotata (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I meet the requirements, I would be very interested in access to primary sources and other documents, to work on American military biographies and unit histories. I haven't written a lot of American history-related topics, but I have some in mind; among the similar, but non-American articles I have contributed to are Edward Nicolls and 2nd Dragoon Regiment (France), see my userpage for more. Approved
  4. Catlemur (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I meet the requirements, moreover I am almost exlusively active in the MILHIST field. Approved

  6. Adam Cuerden (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I've been working a lot in Military History photographs and images (I think I have about a third of all Wikipedia's Military history featured pictures last I looked), and this would be useful for dealing with backgrounds and the articles connected to them. 7. Auntieruth55 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Military history articles, including battles, bios, etc. Lots of articles on individuals important in American history. Active editor 2008-2012, and reactive now that I've finished my dissertation. I'd write more in American history if I had access to Fold3. auntieruth (talk) 16:42, 7 November 2014 (UTC) Approved[reply]

  9. Juno (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Editor since 2009, I research and generate lots of new content on American Military Affairs and on the history of American armament. 12. Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email). Meet qualifications as stated. Perfect for the World War I and II draft registration. I have found over 100 missing middle names for biographies using these two sources. See some of the biographies I am working on currently here and Early Birds of Aviation for my list of World War I era aviators. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 17:44, 9 November 2014 (UTC) Approved[reply]

  14. kbabej (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I meet the requirements and would love to have access to this database to create biographies on people who have served in military campaigns. Often I am stymied with research in finding unit numbers, dates served, etc, and this is a resource that will greatly benefit the topics I cover. --Kbabej (talk) 00:53, 11 November 2014 (UTC) Blocked user[reply]
  15. Jim Cartar (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) ~7K edits. It will be of great help to find sources about American and military History. 18. TomStar81 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I'm an editor with a strong military history related editorial background, and would welcome the chance to delve deeper into article research with an account. In particular, I share Parsecboy's enthusiasm for naval history having been actively involved with US battleships and there assorted arms and armament. As a coordinator for the milhist project, access to such a database could be used to help editors who are unable to locate information or citations required for higher level assessments. 19. Rus793 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I'm a new page patroller; I add source citations, verify source citations, check notability and expand stubs. I'm also a researcher. I create articles on a variety of subjects including medieval history, geography, military & military history. Rus793 (talk) 18:14, 22 November 2014 (UTC) Approved[reply]
  20. Tucoxn (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I would like a Fold3 account if enough are available. I've been editing on English Wikipedia since 2008, but I also edit on French Wikipedia, Fijian Wikipedia, and Simple Wikipedia. I am mainly a researcher and content creator. I currently have over 6,700 edits on English Wikipedia, with over 4,300 unique pages edited and nine non-redirect articles created. When I create a new article or significantly expand a stub, I try to have it listed on the main page, at Did you know? I've also created several articles on Fijian Wikipedia. I write and edit articles on history, plants, animals, locations in the Pacific region, and notable deceased Americans. I also often add source citations to already existing articles. I intend to continue a similar pattern of editing. Access to Fold3 would help me because it's difficult to find reliable sources on many topics and the libraries where I live are often difficult to access and not well stocked. Thanks for your consideration! - tucoxn\talk 04:06, 26 November 2014 (UTC) Approved[reply]
  21. StanProg (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I meet the requirements. I'm an editor in the Bulgaria Wikipedia since 2006 with more than 11k live edits. My primary area of contribution (> 99% edits) is the Military history and especially the Bulgarian military history (19th & 20th century). The access to Fold3 will be beneficial form me mainly, because of my interest & contributions related to the military history. From the Fold3 database what's most interesting for me are the collections related to World War I & World War II, which will help me to create a new articles and improve the existing ones. --StanProg (talk) 04:03, 28 November 2014 (UTC) Approved[reply]
  22. BabyNuke (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I've been editing Wikipedia since 2005 and am active on both the English and Dutch wikipedia and easily meet the edit requirements (the edit counter is down right now but there's a couple of thousand). I frequently edit pages related to aviation, often including articles on (former) military airports and aircraft.
  23. Technical 13 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) 25K+ edits over the course of nearly 4 years with access to multiple userright groups that is an active member of WP:WPAFC and this would make a nice addition to the content available to me through WP:HIGHBEAM and WP:JSTOR (through my school). 24. Jason Rees (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) After having a quick look at this site - i realized that i was interested in gaining acesss to this site as it contains several damage reports on various typhoons. 26. Ceradon (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Requesting access to this service. I meet the requirements. I've created dozens of articles relating to military history (Mostly relating to the American Civil War. See my user page; admittedly, most articles there are stubs though. I have expanded Benjamin Hardin Helm to GA status and Theodore W. Brevard, Jr. and William L. Brandon are GA pending. So far I have had 2 DYKs featured on the main page. Both on the topic of MilHist, both are shown on my user page.) Most of my contributions are related to Military history. I'm also working on expanding this article (expansion began here in my userspace) to featured article status and this archive may help me tremendously. Thank you for your consideration, --ceradon (talkcontribs) 00:09, 26 December 2014 (UTC) Approved[reply]
  27. Deadbeef (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Meet stated requirements; understand if I am not selected as I don't have the corpus of MILHIST articles as some of the other applicants, but I do work at MILHIST occasionally and have been frustrated at the dearth of sources for some notable-but-not-quite-famous subjects I have written on. Would appreciate access to the service and would use it to dig deeper in these instances. Deadbeef 07:43, 30 December 2014 (UTC) Approved[reply]
  28. Teemu08 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) 20k+ edits. One of my main areas of interest is biographies of notable Illinois people, particularly around the time of the American Civil War. Fold3 would give me access to some resources that would improve my articles. Teemu08 (talk) 19:44, 30 December 2014 (UTC) Approved[reply]

In fact, I am not currently doing any research that would require the use of it, but I can envision that this might be useful in the future, so I would like to be considered for an account. I am interested in seeing what type of information is in it and how it could be used. Emerald Evergreen 17:29, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
