Central Eurasia

Central Eurasia is a geographic term, which may refer to:
- Central Asia, i.e., the five Central Asian Republics as well as the lower Volga Region in Russia, southern Siberia, Iran, Afghanistan, parts of China and Northern Pakistan, Kashmir and sometimes Mongolia and Tibet
- The Caucasus region, spreading through parts of Russia, down through the Caspian Sea and into Iran and Central Asia
- Some parts of Europe, such as Finland, Estonia, Hungary and Turkey, where the primary language is non-Indo-European (i.e. Uralic or Altaic).
- These regions are also the focus of the Department of Central Eurasian Studies at Indiana University
