Islam is a minority religion in Nepal. According to the 2011 Nepal census, 4.4% of the population are Muslim.[1]

Islam is thought to have been introduced by the Indian Muslims and Bangladeshi Muslims settling in Nepal.[2] Ahmadis maintain a small presence in Nepal.[3]
