Kerala Congress (Secular) was a faction of Kerala Congress led by the MLA P.C. George in the State of Kerala, India. Other important leaders of the party were T.S. John and Jacob Thomas Arikupuram.
In Oct 2009, the party merged with Kerala Congress (Mani).
[edit] United Kerala Congress movement
There was a move in 2008 to unite all splinter factions of Kerala Congress within UDF. This proposed United Kerala Congress comprises Kerala Congress (Mani), Kerala Congress (Balakrishna Pillai), Kerala Congress (Jacob), and Kerala Congress (Secular). However this was unsuccessful. Later in October 2009 Kerala Congress (Secular) merged with Kerala Congress (Mani).
