Jagson Airlines is an airline based in Delhi, India. It operates scheduled and charter services within India and to Bhutan and Nepal.[1]

History

The airline was established and started operations in November 1991. It began charter operations with two 18-seat Dornier 228-201 aircraft and later operated regular services from Delhi. It is wholly owned by Jagson International. [1] In 2006 they announced plans to expand their services to 9 cities, using leased Airbus A321-200 aircraft.

Jagson have withdrawn plans to launch a nationwide scheduled low-cost airline by mid-2006 and plan to continue as a regional airline[2].

Destinations

Jagson Airlines operate flights between Delhi and Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. They also operate a helicopter service between Srinagar, Baltal and Amarnath. [citation needed] Jagson Airlines has stopped all Chennai based operations and only operate from Delhi and Shirdi.

The airline claimed that two 50-seat leased aircraft are likely to join the fleet in February 2007. They have recently purchased two 26-seat Russian helicopters, currently operating services in India's northeast states[2].
