JSC Atlant-Soyuz Airlines (Russian: ОАО «Авиакомпания «Атлант-Союз») was rebranded on September 2010 to Moscow Airlines (Russian: «Авиакомпания Москва»). It is an airline based in Moscow, Russia. It operates domestic and international passenger and cargo flights. The airline's main passenger base is located at Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport.

History

Atlant-Soyuz Airlines started operations in June 1993. It is owned by private investors (75%) and the City of Moscow (25%). It has 726 employees[2].

Atlant-Soyuz and Evergreen International Airlines of Oregon are to establish a new joint venture, operating scheduled cargo services between the United States and China, via Russia (Domodedovo Airport) and Western Europe.[3]

Apparently, some Atlant-Soyuz airplanes carry tail numbers starting in VP or VQ (see photo) and are thus registered in Bermuda. Others carry EI tail numbers, are registered in the Republic of Ireland[10].
