Some crews, rappers and DJs include:
- Ali B. - One of the rappers of the Netherlands, Born in Morocco. Ali B. succeeded in making Nederhop more popular amongst the Dutch mainstream population.
- Brainpower - Brainpower is an MC that has gained respect for his clever rhymes and his freestyle (battle) skills. After some collaborations with Extince and de Spookrijders, Brainpower released his hit single Dansplaat in 2002, which topped the charts.[citation needed] In that same period, Brainpower featured on Nas' 'One Mic'.[citation needed]
- MC Casto - A rapper from Amsterdam. Casto is an underground rapper signed with RAMP Records.[citation needed] Casto is best known for his humorous tracks and freestyles.
- DAC (De Amersfoortse Coöperatie) - a hiphop group from Amersfoort.[citation needed] Most of the times this crew focuses on brag & boast tracks. DAC has characteristically skillful lyrics and a soulful/funky type of music.
- Def P is the inventor of Nederhop, which was given birth to in 1989.[citation needed] Def P, who is the lead singer of de Osdorp Posse is well-known for his hardcore old-school type of rhyming, as well as his freestyle skills.
- Def Rhymz an MC from Rotterdam. Known for his funny raps. His charismatic performances speak for themselves. Def Rhymz was the first Dutch rapper ever to hit the number one spot in the charts with two songs (doekoe in 1999 and Schudden in 2001).[citation needed]
- D-Men - a commercially successful hiphop group from Diemen.[citation needed] Known for their American type of beats and their catchy deliveries. D-Men received media attention after releasing their underground mixtapes Straatremixes which became very popular in 2003.[citation needed]
- Dubbel HJ (HipHop Junkies) - a hiphop group from Lisse. The group is most known for their variety in group members who each represent their own style. The group's diversity in beats and styles makes them unique in and around Lisse. They are considered as one of the fastest upcoming groups yet.[citation needed]
- Duvel Duvel, from Rotterdam. Being well respected in the underground scene,[citation needed] Duvel Duvel has a unorthodox way of rapping. He has a recognizable raw voice.
- Extince was the first successful selling hiphop artist in Dutch.[citation needed] His funky sounds and cool way of flowing made him that way. Considered as a pioneer for most of today's Nederhop.
- Jawat won the "Grote prijs van Nederland" 2006,[citation needed] and has a very distinguished, raw style. He is known for his energetic performances.
- Klopdokter is the Dutch king when it comes to freestyle battling.[citation needed] Klopdokter is Extince's back-up vocalist.
- Lange Frans & Baas B are the core of the group D-Men. Lange Frans & producer/rapper Baas B conquered a great amount of (female) teenage fans, due to their sing along hooks and female friendly songs.
- Negativ from Amsterdam. Known for his many battle raps.[citation needed]
- Opgezwolle the #1 Nederhop group in The Netherlands,[citation needed] from Zwolle. Their trademark: a wide range of funky, electronic type of beats combined with high skilled flows and deliveries performed by MC's Sticky Steez and Phreako Rico.
- Osdorp Posse the pioneers of Nederhop. This Amsterdam crew, led by Def P, is known for their oldschool style of rapping. The beats, produced by Seda, are mostly raw and are compared to metal music.
- Postmen from Rotterdam. This successful (live) band mostly sing in English and combines various music styles such as: reggae and hiphop.
- Raymzter a highly-talented MC from Almere. Raymzter is well known for his profound and complex rhymes. He earns great respect within the underground Nederhop scene and is considered one of theNetherlands' best together with Opgezwolle.[citation needed]
- de Spookrijders is a three man hiphop group founded in 1996 : MC's Stefan and Clyde and producer/DJ Cliff 'the Jazz' Nille. Albums :De Echte Shit, Klokkenluiders van Amsterdam, Hee... Spookies!!. The band split up in 2003.[citation needed]
- Terilekst a talented producer/MC from Venray. Terilekst puts his defined humor on track and combines it with his dry and monotonous voice. Terilekst forms a two man group with Spacekees.
