AfD nomination of The Turnbull AC's (gang)
I have nominated The Turnbull AC's (gang), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Turnbull AC's (gang). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Timm Klose
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Timm Klose, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Timm Klose. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:55, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Scottish Mob
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0 Notice
Hi,
As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.
We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.
You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, and we send our apologies for this automated intrusion onto your talk page!

Michael Ljunggren
Hello, I noticed that we had created articles on Michael Ljunggren in parallell on enwiki & svwiki. A question on one line in the article. You wrote "Ljunggren was born into a working-class family in the south of Sweden and was just six years old when his father was murdered". The Swedish article which you referred to was very interesting, and included statements from his mother Inger, but nothing on his social class background or his father. It does however state that Michael's two children were 6 and 10 when their father was killed - was it perhaps a mistranslation? Regards, Tomas e (talk) 17:08, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
April 2009
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to The Finks MC, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. We have some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. AfD nomination of Orkan Avci
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: List of gangs from Sons of Anarchy. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 18:56, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Juice Ortiz
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Juice Ortiz, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Fair use rationale for File:HappySOA.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:HappySOA.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 19:24, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Free souls
Hi. Can you leave a note on the talk page as to why you moved Free Souls back? The media seem to normally call them the Free Souls Motorcycle Club.--Dbratland (talk) 17:05, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- I went ahead and move the page again. Please discuss at Talk:Free Souls Motorcycle Club if you have a reason why you want to move it back.--Dbratland (talk) 00:39, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Please use the talk page and edit summary to explain your page moves.
I see you moved the page Gypsy Joker Motorcycle Club, and someone else moved it back. I don't pretend to have all the answers on what page names should be, but I try to explain my moves in the reasons box. Please propose a move at Talk:Gypsy Joker Motorcycle Club if you have reasons why the page should be moved. Thanks! --Dbratland (talk) 17:38, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- I take it back; I just saw your comments at Talk:Free Souls Motorcycle Club. Carry on. --Dbratland (talk) 18:55, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of List of gangs in the Saints Row series
The article List of gangs in the Saints Row series has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article is nothing but a list of fictional characters from a video game. No real world perspective just in-universe info. Only source is primary (the video game itself).
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. L0b0t (talk) 14:31, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:OttoDelaney.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:OttoDelaney.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Suggestion for an article
I was interested in your Asian Boyz article which made me wonder why isn't there a Tiny Rascal Gang article if it's bigger, I have done my research, and i would do this article my self however all the articles i have done before have not followed the 'wiki rules.' If you are up for it i reckon it would be a good idea to do this article.
Here is all you need

Suspected attempt at vote-rigging
I strongly suspect the editor behind your WolffReik account also has edited under the anonymous IP addresses 90.208.53.16, 90.202.94.11 and/or 90.202.94.99. In general, editing under an IP and a registered account is just fine -- until it comes to points of contention such as AfDs. Two of these IPs and you !voted at the Manon Batiste AfD. I will be keeping an eye on your contributions and these IPs'; if I see similar overlap again, I will initiate a checkuser request that might lead to your editing privileges being blocked. --EEMIV (talk) 22:12, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
- I see you also attempted to vote-stack in an AfD for Dean something-or-other. I have typed up the evidence for a sockpuppet investigation, which can lead to your editing privileges being blocked. I will submit it if I see any further evidence of an attempt to offer multiple votes at an AfD. Additionally, WP:3RR violations involving your registered account and IP addresses will spurn me to file it, along with anything else that makes clear you are attempting to game the system. --EEMIV (talk) 16:12, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
3RR
I am not particularly inclined to copy-and-paste talk-page warnings and messages here and on your various IP talk pages -- but, I will at least keep them here. Note that an addition restoration of content at the Swedish mercenary web page -- content that is supposedly cited, but is not in fact at all substantiated by the claimed source -- will violate WP:3RR. This will lead to an editing block as surely as ongoing abuse of multiple IP socks and attempted AfD vote-stacking (see above). Furthermore, your persistent failure to respond to these concerns on your talk page, while otherwise engaging in editing, does not reflect well upon you. --EEMIV (talk) 20:16, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi Wolffreik, I just wanted to say hi and thank you for all the work with the SOA related articles and images. - OK, I read your post........I dont know how much you know about the second season wolf but most of the characters you mentioned in your message end their story arcs in 2nd season itself, except maybe cameron hayes who might be important in the 3rd season. Besides him, other character story arc either ends or they never develop much further, like chuck and wendy whose current bio wouldn't be much longer than their description on the character page for SOA. I can still create pages for them if you want, but the character profile would be the same size as the description on the SOA character page since they aren't primary characters. Martial arts articles for AfD
If you're going to tag articles as being "included in the list of Martial arts-related deletion discussions", then you should put them in that list. I listed the Mike Groves article there for you, but I see you have another one in the Athletes category that you claim is in the martial arts list (Joe Sampieri), even though it's not. Please try to make sure you list the articles in the sections you say they're listed in. Papaursa (talk) 01:54, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of Otto Delaney
I have nominated Otto Delaney, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Otto Delaney (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

All this stale reverting is improper. As I see it at least Kung Fu Man and I have supported these redirects and you simply revert back a few days later. This is non-notable material and it is inappropriate. On the list you reverted a whole heap of other edits, too, and in the template, you're blindly restoring links to deleted stuff. No Cookie. Speedy deletion nomination of Scott Ramsey (Scottish footballer)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Scott Ramsey (Scottish footballer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. EchetusXe 19:17, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
The article Scott Ramsey (Scottish footballer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Does not meet WP:ATH as far as I can see from this unreferenced BLP.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. EchetusXe 21:36, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

Multiple infoboxes
Please don't add multiple infoboxes to articles unless there is a reason to do so. The Infobox in the lead should correspond to what the individual is primarily known for. You don't need to use another infobox to summarize martial arts accomplishments; that can be done in a paragraph or a table. OhNoitsJamie Talk 18:26, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Categories: Martial Artists and Martial Arts
I notice that you are doing a lot of work with MA categories and I would like to ask a favor.
Last year in the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Martial_arts we did a Wikipedia:WikiProject Martial arts/Article Review using the Catscan tool [12] to scan for the 'Notability' tag in all Martial Arts articles. The category trees were quite interwoven. To make the categories more useful and smaller, we separated 'Martial Arts' from 'Martial Artists'.
The favor: for example, rather than putting Category:American_kickboxers under Category:Kickboxing_in_the_United_States, could you put
- Any proofs that Oleinik trained Freestyle Wrestling as a style on a regular basis, please (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexey_Oleinik and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Alexey_Oleinik). Till then I've to revert it back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.232.152.118 (talk) 17:43, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

Good loooin' out on that. It's about time something like this was brought up. It was getting annoying seeing the same group of people removing the flags. I personally believe it looks better and more complete with them Delinquent1904 (talk) 15:27, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
Flag icons and the discussion at WP:MMA
Hello, I couldn't help but notice that you've been contacting many editors to sign your petition to re-add flag icons back to MMA articles. This activity looks a lot like WP:CANVASSING and is generally considered to be disruptive behavior. Inviting interested parties to participate in a discussion in a neutral manner is one thing, but what you appear to be doing is votestacking (see the previous link). I should also point out that on Wikipedia we do not make decisions by vote (see WP:VOTE) but through discussion and consensus building. There is a very long discussion at WT:MMA about why flag icons should not be included in MMA articles (going along with the project-wide consensus of Wikipedia which you can read here) which I hope you will participate in. I look forward to reading your contributions to the discussion. Thanks. SQGibbon (talk) 14:12, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

WikiProject Kickboxing update draft
As you may be aware, I have created a proposed update for the project here: User:Jfgslo/WikiProject Kickboxing draft Could you please check the draft and give your comments about it? Only Marty Rockatansky and jsmith006 have been kind enough to check it and I really would appreciate more opinions to improve it. I want this project to become active once again so that kickboxing articles are improved and safe from deletion and then focus on having at least two featured articles. At the moment we cannot even cite the project to asses notability. As I commented with Marty Rockatansky, contentious points will be left out of the update so feel free to criticize anything from the draft. Jfgslo (talk) 14:10, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Nomination of Art of War 14 for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Art of War 14 is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Art of War 14 until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Flags
Hi WolffReik. I've noticed you've done some good work in kickboxing and mma. I'm probably a bit slow but is there anywhere I can petion for getting the flags back as I think it's crazy they are going around removing flags and this won't happen in the kickboxing pages if I can help it (we've had some dudes trying it on here as well). If you've got any queries or need any help let me know. We've also had a lot of people nominating pages for deletion when all they appear to need is some more sources so we need to keep on top of things. Cheers.jsmith006 (talk) 16:18, 27 June 2011

Fred Royers
WölffReik, thank you for adding this entry. Fred Royers is a great person, an excellent martial arts journalist, a respected color commentator, a very important behind-the-scenes WKA official as well as a legitimate former WKA world champion. He managed the WKA's entry into Europe beginning in 1983. I have his complete early kickboxing record and will post it to the STAR System website within the week if you would like to add it to this entry. Paul Maslak (talk) 16:50, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
- WölffReik, I have Alexio's record until I discontinued the STAR ratings, including his early TKO loss as an amateur to Mike King. The PKA and STAR both removed that loss from his pro record because King was a seasoned pro; Alexio was starting out as an amateur. The match was a last-minute substitute that never should have been allowed: novice amateur versus pro world contender. Anyway, you're having trouble finding Alexio's early record because he changed his last name. Alexio is his mother's maiden name. I have Cikatic's rated bouts from that era, but I can probably still find a way to get to his manager/trainer to see what he can provide. Kevin Rosier became prominent after my tenure at STAR. I have nothing on him.

Speedy deletion nomination of List of SuperKombat events
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on List of SuperKombat events, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mtking (edits) 22:57, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

Hello
Hi WölffReik,
Glad to meet you. I'm pretty upset with fashion going on martial arts articles. Since Marty and Jsmith are no longer active here, I seriously consider about my presence here. Any idea for matching the criteria claimed to delete K-1 or MMA articles? Please share your thoughts before I decide to quit cause soon I will not be able to stand what is going on. - Hi WölffReik, any news? Any decision? Btw, I'm in touch with some users outside. We plan to create something externally, like a new website about martial arts? Or at least we can discuss together to see what we've got here and what we can do to enhance our values against the "viruses". Cheers, Umi1903 (talk) 22:29, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
Kickboxing
Hi WölffReik,
I have revised the article K-1 World Grand Prix 2008 in Seoul Final 16 to include some of the deleted lower-level fights and would like you to take a look. You are one of the kickboxing experts here, and you should determine what goes in the article. Take note that I got all the deleted articles placed into my userspace by asking an admin nicely. The community has decided that some of the fights shouldn't have a seperate pages, but there is no reason not to put a synopsis in a higher-level fight. You may be able to break out some of them later, but you will need at least 2 independent sources covering that particular event. (Generally, that means newspapers, and the bigger the better) I suspect you may find such coverage in Asian newspapers, but I am not the one to do it for you.
Cheers,
The Steve 14:23, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
Wilson versus Theriault
WölffReik,
I was the ringside judge who scored this fight for Wilson by 2 points. Regardless of the Black Belt article you cited as source, your entry's description of the fight is not accurate. The Black Belt coverage was not written by an eyewitness. For a broader perspective, check out the contemporaneous accounts in the Montreal newspapers, as well as in Official Karate magazine. Also, please see STAR Equalization Finding #3 at the bottom of Wilson's ring record posted on my website at http://starsystemkickboxing.net/DonWilson.aspx. Wilson was never thrown through the ring ropes by a knockdown or otherwise. You are correct that Theriault scored one clean knockdown in the nineth, but it was a quick down and up again. Theriault simply caught Wilson off-balance; he never landed a solid punch with Wilson's feet planted. Wilson was not shaken up. But Theriault rightfully earned a 10-8 round score.
Outside of that one knockdown, Theriault's power blows universally hit air. Wilson was a ghost, effectively counterattacking out of a mobile defense throughout the entire fight. It was a very strategic, technical match up that, physically, was much closer than it might have appeared to the lay person.
I thought Wilson won a clear but narrow points victory. The Montreal audience, however, apparently disagreed with how close the decision: When the outcome was announced, the audience nearest the ring at first began chanting, "bull-shit, bull-shit, bull-shit" ... then another, louder chorus erupted: "Wil-son, Wil-son, Wil-son." Immediately thereafter, a large gleeful throng rushed into the ring and passed Wilson out of the arena over their shoulders. It looked rather like the ending of the 1986 movie Crocodile Dundee.
In all the fights I witnessed as the STAR kickboxing ratings chief -- and I witnessed thousands -- I've never seen an audience react like that before or since.

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
