I saw some additions you made to Wil Wheaton. While I'm not certain linking to imdb entries in the text of an article (or a table, in this case) is acceptable practice on Wikipedia, there is a discussion here.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 22:02, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bridgit Mendler, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Keyboard (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Moving pages manually

In future, do not move discography page content to another namespace, as you did with Melanie Chisholm discography, no matter how correct you think you are. Request the move, as now, none of that page's history has moved with it. In future if you do this, you'll be officially warned.

Also, do not add Heatseekers positions onto the number of positions on a country's main chart, as you did with the New Zealand peak at DNCE discography. This is incorrect, as songs that make the top 40 do not reappear on/fall back through the Heatseekers chart, so these songs can and do sit between what is number 1 on any given country's Heatseekers chart and the main chart. Thank you. Ss112 15:46, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Polish and Scottish columns

Stop adding Polish chart positions to discography articles, because all you have done is perpetuate the misconception that airplay figures should or can be put alongside sales chart figures. This is wrong and misleading, and if I see you continuing to add Polish airplay peaks in discographies, you'll be reverted and warned.

Also, stop going back to Spice Girls-related discographies to add Scottish peaks. Scotland is still a country in the UK and the peaks for it are already covered by the UK column. This is especially wrong because you have been removing other columns to add it in. Please stop being a problematic editor when it comes to discography pages or you'll run into plenty of future problems around Wikipedia. Ss112 16:28, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cover art for "I Turn to You"

As you should know by now, plenty of British artists used to release two CD versions with different covers for their singles (commonly labelled CD1 and CD2). Just because the cover you replaced is on iTunes does not make it more "official", especially considering the song was released before iTunes even existed. They're both official and it was unnecessary to replace it. Ss112 12:47, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mel C

This edit is probably the single most impressive thing I've seen on Wikipedia this year. Good work! The Rambling Man (talk) 15:23, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copypasting/adapting sections

Despite what an editor told you above, your edit included much the same section about the Spice Girls you added to Mel B. Stop copypasting sections. That should not be done on Wikipedia and if you do it to another member, I'll revert your edit, 40,000 bytes of data difference or not.

Also, don't remove the fact that each of the Spice Girls had names in the group and what they are still popularly known as. In future too, don't leave me messages saying "I'm glad you like my edits" on my talk page when I wasn't thanking you for your edits, nor am I now. It makes you look like you can't understand simple English. Ss112 18:50, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • The article was horrible, you know, I tried to expand (with sources). I'm not English, but I can be ironic. So thanks again! "I'm glad you like my edits". I'll report you, you're chasing me, not helping me. Instead of attacking, you could collaborate in the article. Peace and love. Ross Lynch Lovers msg 19:01, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You didn't just try to expand it, you deliberately removed information about each member's Spice Girls name. How am I chasing you? I regularly monitor Spice Girls-related articles and you're being problematic on them by removing legitimate information, deleting "pop" as a genre and attributing information not in sources you're citing. So you can follow through on your threat to report me all you like, but you're in the wrong. That's not attacking mate, please get some perspective. Ss112 19:57, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
So you can reverse my edition, if it was not good. Ross Lynch Lovers msg 20:10, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Hero Worship (Ultra Naté album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. What EPs are

I've recently edited a few discographies that you have created/edited and noticed that you appear to believe extended plays/EPs are a format somebody can buy. Please read the article. EPs are not a separate format; they are released as either a download, CD, or vinyl, or all. EPs are also not albums, so they should not be put under the subheading of "albums". The article on EPs makes clear they are generally shorter than an album, but longer than a single. Ss112 10:10, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Did you read this message months ago when I sent it to you? EPs are not albums and do not categorise them as such, as you did at Austin Mahone discography. Please read Extended play. EPs are NOT albums. Ss112 05:08, 4 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please make sure you add correct accessdates to references when you edit articles. You fabricated a bunch of dates for references on Calum Scott late last month and in another edit I just reverted you for. Like, come on. 2010, 2014? He didn't even have an article then. ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Ross Lynch Lovers. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Calum Scott. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. There was no reference there before, so undoing your edits naturally got rid of the reference you added, which you obviously thought proves it's a promotional single, when it doesn't. It just as easily proves it's a full single, as it's on iTunes, which doesn't specify what is "promotional" and what isn't. Your "dumb" comment is unnecessary and constitutes a personal attack, so avoid saying things like that in future. Ss112 13:41, 15 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Colbie Caillat

Please don't re-add "surf pop" to Colbie Caillat's genres unless you can provide a reliable source for it. Just because she may have an easygoing folk style and feature beach imagery, does not necessarily make her music "surf pop". Ss112 15:35, 18 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cher Lloyd

Only the UK and perhaps Irish versions of "Want U Back" had Astro featured (as that page seems to indicate it was only these versions that had an interest in releasing a version with a British X Factor contestant featured—the rest of the world would not have known who he is). It was not an international thing. Most versions do not have him featured, and it is not the same everywhere. The page has had a note for his feature for years; please get consensus on the talk page for a change like this. Ss112 16:47, 24 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Emma Bunton

Did you seriously think nobody would check the reference you provided? Lmao, Patricia/Ross Lynch Lovers, please. Emma Bunton is not bossa nova or soul overall. The only thing the link you provided says http://www.musicaldiscoveries.com/reviews/emmabunton.htm is "pop". The words "bossa nova" or "soul" are not referenced at all. Don't add them again unless you can reference them. If you continue to, whether through this account or the IPs you've used in the past, you'll be reported for adding unsourced content and sockpuppeting. Thank you. Ss112 05:08, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"A blind fan" says the editor adding unreferenced claims that Bunton's overall genres are bossa nova and soul. Dream on. Users can be "threatened" with being reported (if that's what you want to call it) if they add unreferenced claims, which you did, and I'm perfectly within my rights to do so. So don't add unreferenced genres to articles, and don't accuse people of ridiculous crap like being "sexist" (how? Good luck trying to come up with proof of that). Olivia Newton-John discographies

Please stop citing Discogs over and over as if it's the definitive source for if a something was released as a single or not. Per WP:ALBUMAVOID, "Websites with user-generated content should never be used as sources since they have little or no editorial oversight. This may include other general wiki-style sites such as Wikia, and album-related sites such as Discogs, Rate Your Music or Last.fm." So your use of it near 100 times to cite singles on your recently created Olivia Newton-John singles discography is excessive. Also, contrary to a belief you evidently hold, just because a single did not chart does not automatically make it a "promotional single". Newton-John had a number of singles released during the '70s and '80s that did not chart. The first non-charting full single you have of Newton-John's on your split singles page is from 1988, which is ludicrous. She didn't achieve phenomenal popularity with every single thing she touched early in her career, you know. The original Olivia Newton-John discography page you gutted may have been under-sourced, but it was collated over quite a few years, including by editors who were alive during that period and certainly know better than you what achieved full single release and what did not. The Discogs references you cited don't even prove the singles you have listed under the heading were promotional singles; if anything, they lend credence to the fact that they were (and are) full singles. So, I'm letting you know, if I can find the time, I will personally be going through that page to sift through what is a full single and what is not, or request help from other, more experienced editors to do so, because I am quite certain that page is your interpretation of what is a single of hers and what isn't and that amounts to WP:SUBJECTIVE and honestly, misinformation. Finally: Not every single in existence, even by a popular artist, can be found on Discogs. Ss112 05:58, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The file File:Petula Clark - Downtown 88.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnecessary front cover of Petula Clark's 1988 re-recording; violates WP:NFCC#3a (Minimal number of items). The lead image (File:Downtown by Petula Clark UK vinyl A-side.jpg) is already used.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Sofia Carson.

Also, edits you simply don't agree with aren't "vandalism" (look it up) – accusing a good-faith editor of that could be considered a personal attack. Finally, please see WP:BRD – after you were reverted, you should have taken your concerns to the the talk page. --IJBall (contribstalk) 00:44, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Music Is the Weapon

Please look at sources before removing information from articles. The article provided on Music Is the Weapon says "Know No Better" is still set to appear on the album even after being released as an EP. Do not revert or remove it again; this will be disruptive. Hi, what was the point of this revert? You do realize, as promotional singles are a type of single, there's nothing wrong with including this under the heading of singles (it has been done on a number of other featured lists). Also, there's nothing wrong with a separate section for charity singles or the like (i.e. Celine Dion singles discography#Songs recorded by supergroups including Celine Dion, Beyoncé discography#Charity singles, etc.) It just makes navigating the page easier, and makes the tables less cluttered. Please discuss this here rather than reverting again. And regarding something else: do you have a source to back this up? Promotional singles can still chart on airplay charts, you know that right? (for instance, "Dangerously in Love 2" which was just an album track, charted on the US Radio Songs chart). "Olvídame y Pega la Vuelta" and "A Selena Tribute" were generally released for the sake of one-off performances, do you have a source confirming them as official singles rather than promo singles? — Arre 00:38, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Iggy Azalea, Dami Im

Digital Distortion being delayed yet again does not mean the songs that were released as singles from it are no longer on it. We don't call singles non-album singles just because the parent album has been delayed. Also, please stop trying to rewrite history as you see fit, as you did at Dami Im discography. You did this before at Olivia Newton-John's discography. "I Am Australian" and "Jolene" were not promotional singles. What were they released in promotion of, exactly? That constitutes original research. Any reverts or restorations will result you in being warned for edit warring and not discussing. Your past behaviour is problematic enough and quite honestly you should have faced sanctions for it before now. Ss112 19:07, 19 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Radio Disney Music Awards. Hoaxes are eligible for speedy deletion under criterion G3. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia — and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively.
