Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Area codes 418, 581, and 367, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sainte-Monique, Quebec. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Eeyou Istchee James Bay Regional Government

Hi, I was curious if you know the Eeyou Istchee James Bay Regional Government gained 58,418 square kilometers of territory since 2016? --Criticalthinker (talk) 04:52, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Carignan City Council moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Carignan City Council, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Re Username

I assume that your username is your name plus the country of Canada. I might suggest(but you are in no way required to do so) that you add a statement to either this page or your userpage that you are not the individual Ron Canada. 331dot (talk) 14:52, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Richibucto into Beaurivage. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 23:33, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks!   Aloha27  talk  15:45, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Eeyou Istchee James Bay Regional Government

What are you plans with these articles? Why were the infoboxes removed? There is currently a discussion going on about merging the articles at Talk:Eeyou Istchee James Bay. Please go and offer your opinion. This is becoming a mess and removing important information before we decide this is not a constructive use of your time. Hello there,

Could You please edit File:2024 IIHF Participants.png? List of francophone communities in Saskatchewan

I'm not sure how helpful or relevant it is adding List of francophone communities in Saskatchewan to rural municipalities in Saskatchewan. I didn't mass revert because I wanted to discuss with you first. Rural municipalities, as you know, aren't communities. Shouldn't List of francophone communities in Saskatchewan be added to just actual communities that are franophone? I can't see how it's relevant to the rural municipalities. Help me out. Masterhatch (talk) 12:50, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I removed all those links in the see alsos. We don't add lists of towns, villages, cities, Indian reserves etc in the see alsos of RMs and we don't need the list of francophones there either. Masterhatch (talk) 18:57, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Understood, I won't be adding the link to rural municipalities anymore Roncanada (talk) 01:42, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sandbox pages

Please note that sandbox pages such as your User:Roncanada/sandbox are not allowed to be filed in categories as if they were already finished articles. Categories must stay off the page while it's in your sandbox, and may be added only if and when the content has actually been moved or copied into the main article space as a real article. As I've had to remove the page from categories at least three times now, please don't add the page back to categories again, because it isn't allowed to be in any categories. Thanks.
