Charlton railway station is in Charlton (at the bottom of Charlton Church Lane) in the London Borough of Greenwich. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Southeastern. It is in Travelcard Zone 3.

Trains run east to Dartford and the Medway Towns via Woolwich Arsenal. To the west all trains run to London Bridge and then on to either Charing Cross or Cannon Street; however the line forks west of Charlton, with one branch running via Greenwich and the other via Lewisham, before re-joining to the east of London Bridge.

Charlton station is within walking distance of The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic F.C..
