NOTE: Natural Sciences, including Earth Sciences such as geology, have a different article request page (Topics in natural sciences) as do article requests for Social sciences.

I am looking at this trying to figure out exactly what is being sought here. The Chicago Tribune Building, fIt's the word artifact that has me concerned. Carptrash (talk) 18:10, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is shockingly bad and rather unbelievable that the English-language Wikipedia does not even have ONE article on the subject of English Composition. This is such a fundamental and necessary subject for anyone doing public writing in the English language. In truth, there should be an entire series of articles on this subject in the Wikipedia - ones what have been written by well-educated people in this field, such as by college-level teachers of Applied English Composition (in prose), technical writing, journalism, and related fields.
Note that the above has been written by a man who is both an engineer and a mathematician (with master's degrees in both fields). The omission of such a series of articles in the Wikipedia strikes him as being like trying to explain algebra to someone without first explaining what these mean: {x, y, z, +, -, *, X, /, =, >, <, A, B, C, |x|} to begin with.98.67.170.12 (talk) 14:50, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Template:Req It is a company that puts up small, unobtrusive, low power, relatively general purpose base stations for cellphones (and other services, simultaneously mixing different technologies such as GSM, CDMA, wifi, wimax, etc.). They set up distributed antenna systems (DAS) where each node is effectively a remote antenna, the nodes are connected by a fiber optic loop to a local NextG facility. Cellphone providers can then pay to put base stations (BTSs) at this shared facility. Multiple cell providers, even using different technologies, can use a single system at once. They are selling this as a way to fill in holes in existing networks, though their product could alone serve a densely populated area. nextgnetworks.net

  • Template:Req Tachogenerators are frequently used to measure the speeds of electric motors, engines, and the equipment they power. Generators generate voltage roughly proportional to shaft speed. With precise construction and design, generators can be built to produce very precise voltages for certain ranges of shaft speeds
