West Los Angeles College (also called West L.A. College or WLAC) is a community college located in Ladera Heights, California, the unincorporated area of Los Angeles County adjacent to Culver City, California.

WLAC is a part of the California Community Colleges System, within the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), and fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges[2] The school offers Associate's degrees, 18 vocationally oriented programs in addition to 25 transfer programs.

Athletics

WLAC fields teams in 8 intercollegiate sports with 5 men's teams and 3 women's teams. The Wildcats are members of the Western State Conference. The teams were previously known as the "Hustling Oilers".
