- I see that you are a new editor. As such, you are probably not very familiar with Wikipedia's editorial policies. Yur initial edit looked to me as if it had serious conflict of interest problems (usually described in wikipedia (WP) as COI). I just placed a welcome message on your talk page which has come information about WP and COI and also contains links to some other project pages which ought to be useful and informative. I have seen the user page you created and, even though it is customary to allow quite a bit of latitude in user page content, it was my opinion that you are more than a bit over the line there. Betweeen the time I looked at it and now, I see than another administrator has deleted that user page, saying, "BLP/Wikipedia isn't a webhost for complaints". Please see WP:NOT, WP:SOAP, and WP:UP. This is apparently in response to this revert of one of your edits. After doing this google search, it still appears to me that the revert and the associated vandalism notice were justified. July '14 Emoticons
Good morning Bill. I made a similar edit to Emoticon back on 20th Sep '12, to distinguish articles in discussion within the page from the text and page punctuation. This change was previously commended by other editors, for making the page easier to read. Although I'm not a prolific editor I do know the basic ins and outs of contributing to Wiki projects, and have been doing for some years now, so know all about the Sandbox and such. The edit to Emoticons yesterday was a deliberate attempt to make the page once again legible, and so would like to revert back to that edit unless you have any other points for discussion on the page :) Ginga123 (talk) 07:28, 15 July 2014 (UTC)
