MGTOW man: (Men Going Their Own Way pronounced /ˈmɪg.taʊ/) motto/descriptive MGHOW: Man Going His Own Way as featured on the BBC is an online community[1] supported by websites and social media presences.[2] The community is part of what is more broadly termed the manosphere.[3] It is a non-judgemental coalition of self-actualised "red pill" men. A community of men that have separated themselves or protesting through peaceful nonparticipation the conformity to unrealistic social expectations, female preference and ideology (Gynocentrism[4]/Femfog[5]), within Western civilisation that has become hostile and prejudicial toward men and masculinity referred to as “the red pill”. MGTOW protestation by nonparticipation in traditional ideologies, gender roles and feminisation, is a lifestyle of passive ‘Non-violent Resistance’ that does not hurt or oppress anybody nor does it seek to do so[6].

MGTOW: verb; make a forcefully reproachful protest by peaceful nonparticipation and self-centralisation of men.

Interpretation; [philosophical] This is from the prospective of Self-ownership and often men that have been harmed consecutively by women or prejudice. According to columnist Martin Daubney, members of the MGTOW community believe that legal and romantic entanglements with women fail a cost–benefit analysis and risk–benefit analysis.[8] They now decide not to comply with social expectations to seek the philosophy of freedom thought, open discussion and self-determination by encouraging men to remove the risks of exploitation out of their lives. Henceforward MGTOW ‘is not’ a catchphrase and not just a motto but of the philosophy structured towards freeing men from mandated roles of society that positions them into servitude (e.g. marriage, law enforced for non-consensual progeny, the theft of property through unjust and discriminative law). Changing men’s issues thoughts toward removing themselves from practices that lead them into exploitation. This does not remove the practicality and needs of men, such as sex but does not describe individuals if their long-term goal and desire is to chase or please women or has a plan to get married into conventional servitude. This is because it is in contradiction to the philosophy of MGTOW making them incompatible with the philosophy but not enemies of it.Jeremy Nicholson writing for Psychology Today similarly described MGTOW as men frustrated with the lack of incentives to date who choose to opt-out of dating and focus on taking care of themselves.[9] Kay Hymowitz has stated that some self-identified MGTOW express bitterness because they see women as hypergamous and manipulative.[10] Business Insider reporter Dylan Love wrote a "fully-realized MGTOW (there are levels to it) is someone who shuns all relationships with women, short-term, long-term, romantic, and otherwise. He eventually shuns society as a whole."[11] MGTOW use the word "gynocentric" to describe conditions that favor women to the detriment of men, and are opposed to such circumstances.[12]

Interpretation; [Political] Men have become second class citizens because of inappropriate liberal feminism with mistaken and skewed mantra of equality. Men resisting paradigm has been concluded is that direct confrontation with these women’s groups is non-productive in equalising the rights of men and women. The reason why men’s right’s movements are non-productive is because they tend to be more traditionalist in their perspective which is a trap that ultimately in slave’s men. This is unpalatable for the modern age of MGTOW men because most modern men don’t want a submissive 1930’s wife, they just want the same courtesy and respect that is afforded to other gender(s/other) in the 21st century. This is the respect of basic human rights of personal space, personal property, equal justice, public interpersonal equality, the right to personality, the fair distribution of labour, the abolishment of entitlement and equal status under the court system with no disrespectful tone towards masculinity or shaming men for not fitting within a government, traditionalist and feminist dogmatic view of what a man and boys should be.

Interpretation; [Media] Many men opted-out of this female mantra as a passive resistance and self-protection to invoke change in a meaningful way and this created the MGTOW movement. This is not a selfish action or excuse but an action to take the power of their life back from traditionalism, state and women. A philosophy for self-reflection, of needs, emotion, personal time, labour and resources for themselves and other men, with no arbitrary distinctions (Ghost Nation)5. Articles in Vice and DELFI have juxtaposed the phenomenon of herbivore men in Japan to MGTOW. Mack Lamoureux writing in Vice sees herbivore men as a consequence of Japanese socioeconomic conditions and MGTOW as an ideological choice.[2] In the DELFI article MGTOW are described as a protest against feminist laws in the West whereas herbivore men are a response to traditional gender roles in Japan, such as those of salarymen.[13]

Interpretation [deduction] men that have been continually put out and exploited by conventions social or otherwise to the point that they reject them those conventions[14][15].

Interpretation [naiveté] (conventionalist) men are bastards that only think of themselves in addition to shirking their moral and societal responsibilities. A common opinion of Traditionalist and men and women that subscribes to gender roles (TRADCON)[16].

Interpretation [antonym] (negative) privileged man that are focused only on their needs and fears under a feminist rape culture and patriarchy paradigm[17].

Interpretation [feminists/antifeminist] MGTOW is a non-actor to feminism and politics, to be an antifeminist one must engage and debate with feminists. Whereby the group by itself does not acknowledge fighting feminism but ‘nothing’s’ feminism. An argument that MGTOW is antifeminist as a group is a non-sequitur as it is a non-remonstrate optimal life strategy community of philosophic discussion. It is an individual’s choice independent of the movement to discuss anti-feminism but not a group decision ideology. With MGTOW protestation by nonparticipation in traditional ideologies and gender roles is a lifestyle of Non-violent Resistance that does not hurt or oppress anybody. Gandhi proved this through NVR and nobody would call Gandhi a misogynist fascist so the same paradigm applies to MGTOW. But is more characterised by the work of François-Marie Arouet (November 21, 1694 – May 30, 1778), famous using his pen name ‘Voltaire’, a French writer, deist and philosopher. “If you want to know who rules over you, look to who you’ are not allowed to criticise.” In the 21st century that is feminism.

Belief and myths about MGTOW

  1. MGTOW is a political men’s rights movement. This misconception comes from early members that were disillusioned with MRA movement that supplied little results. Therefore moved to MGTOW that supplied structure, support, life choice and passive opposition/protest by removing themselves from the line of fire and injustice.
  2. MGTOW is against married men. MGTOW are against the inequality of marriage and the legal system that supports it but does not exclude men who are married or in a relationship. MGTOW by definition discourage men from marrying for the injustice of marriage and family law in most western countries by avoiding it.
  3. MGTOW is against female company. Though the MGTOW community is based on self-reliance and renounce seeking female approval they are not against having relationships with the opposite sex as long as you’re doing it for yourself.
  4. MGTOW is anti-women. MGTOW endorses Self-ownership prospective. This is a philosophy built on self-examination and the nature of men and women excepting that women and men are governed by biological principles that are not relevant in this day and age and are dysfunctional by nature.
  5. MGTOW is antifeminist. Essentially this is true, but this is mainly because feminism is the relevant in this day and age. It also can be said that MGTOW opposes feminism on the basis that it is being used as a tool to buy majority to strip men of their civil and human rights.
  6. MGTOW is a bunch of angry men griping on the Internet. This could not be further from the truth. Many men affiliated with MGTOW are successful good-looking healthy men that just object female exploitation of them. It should be also noted that most men come to MGTOW because they have been exploited by women and society in a fair way and therefore are angry. This is mostly because social structure and law is biased against men and therefore MGTOW members are angrier at this injustice rather than just women that are more often than not ignorant of this fact. It is also fair to say that MGTOW is interested in understanding women’s behaviour from the standpoint of the learned behaviour and biology and are open to discussion rather than absolute blame on either sex.
  7. MGTOW blames women for all their problems. There are some that would believe that and are not discouraged four but it simply is not true for all MGTOW members (see discussion 6).
  8. MGTOW believes in gynocentrisem a phenomenon of the worship of the females’ either of me by the State, Society, or the male gender.
  9. Efficacy is not Ethicacy. If we stand for anything as MGTOW, we stand for anti-exploitation. If we forget that and exploit another we are hypocrites and we stand on nothing.
