The Charter Township of Clinton, usually referred to as Clinton Township, is a charter township in Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 95,648. Clinton Township, is also known in slang as the CTP.

The township is named for the Clinton River, which had been renamed at the first meeting of the Michigan State Legislature in honor of DeWitt Clinton, the popular governor of New York from 1817 to 1823. The river forks into three branches within the township.

Rapper Eminem has a residence in the township. TV producer and director Paul Feig went to Chippewa Valley High School in the township, which is possibly the setting of his short-lived NBC series Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000).
