COI edit requests for Tile

Hi, I work for a communications firm that represents Tile and I've made a few suggestions for improvements on the article's Talk page. Any chance someone here could take a look and lend a hand? Thanks much! Mary Gaulke (talk) 18:36, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal to create a new mobile games task force

I've started a discussion here on the subject of creating a new "mobile games task force" of WikiProject Video Games. I'm posting about it here because I feel that it may interest those watching this page. Thanks! Omni Flames let's talk about it 06:57, 5 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Godless Android Rooting

It was recently discovered that a "family" of apps, including apps on the Google Play Store, are all capable of rooting about 90% of Android phones (those running Android 5.1 and lower). One article explaining it can be found here. I believe this could be potentially notable. (This news seems to be just gaining traction now.) I'm putting this up here because I don't have knowledge enough to draft a good Wikipedia article in a short amount of time, but I believe the Godless apps (as they're being called) should be covered on Wikipedia. -- Gestrid (talk) 05:32, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

We need YOU!

Hello WikiProject Apps,

Unregistered editors cannot create articles on Wikipedia, but they can use the articles for creation process to submit drafts that registered editors can either accept and publish or decline. WikiProject Articles for creation is looking for experienced editors who want to partake in this peer review process. If you have what it takes to get involved, then please take a look at the reviewing instructions. To discuss specific AfC reviews, do so freely on the designated talk page.

There is currently a backlog of over 2900 drafts (0 very old).

If you know an editor who may be willing to help out, please use the template you are currently reading {{subst:WPAFCInvite}} to draw attention to this WikiProject. Many hands make light work!

Worldbruce (talk) 00:47, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Editors willing to review a variety of drafts are especially welcome. If you're interested only in reviewing certain topics, that still helps. At least 5 pending drafts are about apps (are in the intersection of Category:Pending AfC submissions and Category:Draft-Class apps articles). Over 2000 pending drafts have not yet had a WikiProject added, so more may be in the scope of this WikiProject. --Worldbruce (talk) 00:47, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bobo Explores Light (iOS app)

Hello members, I'm relatively new and just created my first wikipage https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Bobo_Explores_Light. I've read the guidelines and have did my best to mimic the articles classified as good content. I've also started with a low importance topic just to be on the safe side. If possible, I would like someone from this WikiProject to take a look at the article and point out corrections and suggestions. I also have a lot of small questions. Is this the place to post them?

Thanks, --Coel Jo (talk) 11:35, 30 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Help with article

Hi,

I am an experienced Wikipedia editor but have a conflict of interest in regards to Letgo as a paid consultant. As such, I'd like someone independent to review some proposed changes I've made on Talk:Letgo#Proposed_edits. Letgo was the second most downloaded app in the United States in 2018 and it has received $500 million (yes, that's right -- five hundred million) in funding in 2018, with a bunch more before that. Thanks for considering this request. Cheers, Ed BC1278 (talk) 20:01, 14 November 2018 (UTC)BC1278[reply]

Article Title Rules

I do not know if this project has rules for article titles, but someone knowledgeable might like to check out this new article: Eva (cooperative). I wonder if the title should be something like "Eva (app)". Anyone here with page move authorization can act as they see fit. Thanks. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 17:15, 7 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Full Sail University

Resolved

Hello! I've been working with Full Sail University to propose updates to the Wikipedia article. I've disclosed my COI on the article's talk page, where you'll also see a series of previous requests. I posted my most recent request regarding a distance education app back on February 1, but so far no editors have responded. Might any WikiProject Apps participants be available to take a look and update the article appropriately? Inkian Jason (talk) 16:48, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A new newsletter directory is out!

A new Newsletter directory has been created to replace the old, out-of-date one. If your WikiProject and its taskforces have newsletters (even inactive ones), or if you know of a missing newsletter (including from sister projects like WikiSpecies), please include it in the directory! The template can be a bit tricky, so if you need help, just post the newsletter on the template's talk page and someone will add it for you.

Request for information on WP1.0 web tool

Hello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.

We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma (talk) 04:23, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sharecare article updates

Hi editors, SCbhaynes here. I am an employee of Sharecare and a representative on Wikipedia for the brand. I recently posted a request on the article's Talk page seeking editor assistance with adjusting the subsidiaries list in the current article's infobox. You can see my full request on the Sharecare talk page. I'm intent on adhering to the site's guidelines for editors like myself with a paid conflict of interest and will avoid editing directly. Since the request remains unanswered so far, I figured to reach out via this WikiProject in case there are any editors here who might assist. Also, I am new to the community, so please advise if this is an acceptable method for a conflict of interest editor like me to collaborate with the community of volunteer editors. Any questions or feedback is more than welcome. Thanks! SCbhaynes (talk) 19:37, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
