Idi Amin: Your abuse of pending changes procedure to avoid consensus

Are you aware of WP:BRD? The obligation to seek consensus for changing an article is on the person seeking the change, not on the person reverting the change. You are shockingly misusing the pending changes procedure to allow a change you personally agree with, despite the long-term consensus in both this article and concerning the Infobox officeholder template. Very disappointing. 2605:6000:EF52:B200:189A:8D19:422F:5221 (talk) 03:38, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you would have taken 15 seconds to ascertain the facts, you would have seen that I reverted deletion of the honorific title by a single purpose editor. In plain English, I restored the long existing status quo based on a long existing consensus You plainly misused and abused the pending changes process and should revert your error. 2605:6000:EF52:B200:189A:8D19:422F:5221 (talk) 04:19, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Disney Channel Games

The article Disney Channel Games has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is absolutely not notable under WP:TVSHOW (i.e. as it is "special" one-time programming, not an "ongoing series"). Also, pure WP:GNG fail - no mentions in Variety, THR or EW.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --IJBall (contribstalk) 05:28, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've posted a reply on my talkpage as requested. I created this page back in 2006 and have not even glanced at it since. After receiving this notice, I went back to look and based on what I see, the article has been broken up into three constituent articles for each year the show aired. Instead of deleting the "hub" article, why not request to merge the constituent year articles into one? Best, haha169 (talk) 05:41, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've responded at Talk:Disney Channel Games. --IJBall (contribstalk) 06:06, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oxford College of Emory University

Hello:

The copy edit that you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Oxford College of Emory University has been completed.

I noticed that not all of the articles URLs have been archived. Likely some of the sources do not allow archiving and that may explain it. You will likely want to check. The Faculty, Admissions, and Residence life sections need to be updated; some of the stats are several years old and others may be outdated.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Regarding Golden Sun grammar checking

Hello Haha169,

Just wanted to tell you that the grammar analysation's been done for Golden Sun (series), Golden Sun, Golden Sun: The Lost Age and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.

The main thing I wanted to say, though, that I'm apologetic that there were errors on Golden Sun (series) made by myself. I installed a grammar checking device recently, and it really doesn't like me editing on Wikipedia, and thus has been playing up while I'm editing. My work is **usually** without error.

Manfred (talk) 11:42, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Manfred von Karma: Thank you for your help! No worries about the mistakes, you still caught some errors that should've been taken care of already. I restored an Oxford comma and consistency: primarily, the double "L" in "installment" and other words is American English spelling - and if you prefer British English that's fine, but you'd have to change every spelling inconsistency because the article has to be consistently written in a certain way. --haha169 (talk) 04:05, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, also, there was some in-lore caps errors in there you had to revert. My bad. As I said before, I haven't played the Golden Sun games so I haven't the slightest clue.
@Manfred von Karma: Regarding the caps, I don't know if they're supposed to be capitalized or not. I just placed an emphasis on consistency. For example - psynergy- you had lower cased some but not all, so I simply made them all capitalized. Either way it should work, but it should be consistent throughout the article. Once again, don't worry about your mistakes. I just needed someone fresh too look at the article, and you caught several errors, which is always helpful!--haha169 (talk) 06:35, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
