Thanks for reverting on my user page. It's almost certainly a revenge edit for this reversion [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anne_Hathaway_(Shakespeare%27s_wife)&diff=670846750&oldid=670846505]. Seems to be a vandalism only IP (today at least). [[User:Paul Barlow|Paul B]] ([[User talk:Paul Barlow|talk]]) 18:54, 10 July 2015 (UTC) |

- Please leave a new message. I won't bite newcomers. Please do not eMail me regarding Wikipedia matters.
- I respond to everything here that requires attention here, so do watchlist this page.
- Please do not template me using a level 1 warning - I don't appreciate being welcomed when I have, under various aliases, been editing here since 22 May 2008 (and using this one since 7 March 2013). Slosh me round the chops with a wet trout instead. Any other templates are fine to use.
- Most discussion boards - AfD, ANI etc. - requires that you notify me of any discussion I should be aware of - DON'T bother. Tag me with {{u|Launchballer}} on the page instead, or in some cases even the fact that there is a deletion template on the page should flag up on my watchlist.
- I divide archives by year and then by every 100 posts.
Incomplete DYK nomination
Hello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/Thea Austin at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; see step 3 of the nomination procedure. - There's a bloody good reason it isn't transcluded - it should've been done and dusted six months ago! I intend to edit {{DYKsubpage}} so that some egregiously old ones show up more quickly: Technical 13, I believe there is some way of subtracting the last few characters from a parameter (i.e. subtracting " 2014" from "June 2014" or selecting only the last few characters from it (i.e. "2014"), what am I on about?--Launchballer 20:01, 4 January 2015 (UTC)

DYK for Higher Ground (Jennifer Rush song)
On 15 February 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Higher Ground (Jennifer Rush song), which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that Jennifer Rush's "Higher Ground" was covered by Mario Pelchat and Celine Dion in French as "Plus haut que moi"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Higher Ground (Jennifer Rush song). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Walking Down Madison
Hi! Pleased to see someone expand this article, it was quite a way down my to-do list! I wonder if you could possibly clarify the chronology, though. You wrote that Johnny Marr had just come away from The Smiths - which I would interpret as August 1987, meaning that the song in some form pre-dates MacColl's 1989 album "Kite" (to which Marr also contributed) and was held over. It makes sense, given that had MacColl not already had "dibs" on it, it would probably have ended up as an Electronic track instead, I just wondered if you could confirm that? -- Walnuts go kapow (talk) 11:04, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
- Marr kept that record after mates of his nicked other records he'd played for them. It was going to be used on his own record before MacColl heard it.--Launchballer 12:46, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 9
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
