Request

Someone please delete and protect my user and talk pagees. Thank you. PumpkinSky talk 21:35, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I can delete your user page but unless you're obviously being harrassed or the page is vandalized, your talk page will have to remain open so people can contact you. You're free though to remove the content of your talk page if you think the page has become too busy. But why would you like to have your pages protected? De728631 (talk) 21:40, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've protected the user page per your request, but administrators typically can't delete talk pages barring a right to vanish. Best of luck to you, PS. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 23:20, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Main Page appearance

Hello! This is a note to let know the main editors of the article List of Medal of Honor recipients educated at the United States Military Academy that it will be appearing as the main page featured list on March 31, 2014. You can view the TFL blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured list/March 31, 2014. If you think it is necessary to change the main date, you can request it with the featured list directors Giants2008 (talk · contribs), Crisco 1492 (talk · contribs) or SchroCat (talk · contribs), or at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured list. If the previous blurb needs tweaking, you might change it—following the instructions of the suggested formatting. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. Thanks! © Tbhotch (en-2.5). 05:19, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Baden-Powell

I have nominated Robert Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. DrKiernan (talk) 18:15, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I could really care less about any article or editing anymore. Wiki is waaaaay too dysfunctional and always will be. But thanks for telling me. PumpkinSky talk 20:46, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

PUF listing notice

Hey... your previous user page is protected and not redirected, so Twinkle breaks. Thought I should do the courtesy of letting you know, but you probably don't want the official templated notice, so here's something a little more personal: so that you are aware, I have listed File:Eldred eagle medal.jpg as a possibly unfree file, since "educational use only" contradicts the GFDL/CC-BY-SA license stated. I plan to convert File:Eldred Color Eagle.jpg to Fair Use with similar reasoning. I hope you are well. Storkk (talk) 09:19, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. peace bell

2016 had a good start, with a Bach cantata (a day late) and an opera reflecting that we should take nothing to seriuz, - Verdi's wisdom, shown on New Year's Day, also as a tribute to Viva-Verdi.
