Madan Kaushik is an Indian politician from Bharatiya Janata Party. Currently he is a cabinet minister from Uttarakhand under the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and four time MLA from Haridwar constituency. He is also the spokesperson for the government. He is a member of the Legislative Assembly from Haridwar.He served as the cabinet minister in 2007-2012 bjp government under the chief minister Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri and Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. He was first elected as a member of the Legislative assembly in 2002 and subsequently in 2007, 2012 and 2017. In 2017, he won the elections with a margin of more than 37000 votes, thereby getting the 72% of the total polled votes.[1][2][3]
