Agni Sakshi (transl. With Fire as Witness) is a Tamil language film directed by K. Balachander, starring Sivakumar and Saritha in the lead roles. Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth play a short cameo as themselves. Saritha was portrayed as a Schizophrenia patient in this film. The box office return was poor.[citation needed] However, Saritha won Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.

The script of Agni Sakshi was originally planned with Kamal Haasan but later changed into female oriented and the film starred Sivakumar and Saritha in lead roles.[1]
