Vishal Nehria is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Dharamshala in the 2019 by election as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. By-elections happen due to Kishan Kapoor elected to Parliament.[1][2][3]

Son of Smt. Sushma Kumari & Shri Rajinder Prasad; born on 20th July, 1988 at Dharamshala, District Kangra; B.A., L.L.B & M.A.(English), educated at Government P.G. College Dharamshala and Himachal Pradesh University Regional Centre Dharamshala; Bachelor; Advocate, Social Worker and Agriculturist.

Started political career with student's politics in 2005. Remained Joint Secretary ABVP, College Campus Dharamshala, 2006-2007; President: i) ABVP, College Campus Dharamshala, 2007-2008, ii) Student Central Association, Himachal Pradesh University Regional Centre Dharamshala, 2009-2010; General Secretary, Student Council, Himachal Pradesh University, 2009-2010; Member, Executive Council Himachal Pradesh University, 2009-2010; Joint Secretary State ABVP, 2010-2012; President: i) ABVP District Kangra 2012-2013, ii) ABVP, Dharamshala City 2012-2013.

Also associated with RSS since 2005 "Pratham Varsh Sangh Shiksha Varg".

Joined BJP in 2014. Remained Member, Executive Committee State Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha, 2014-2016; and Secretary, State Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha since 2016. Performed various duties and responsibilities assigned by party & organization from time to time.

Elected to the State Legislative Assembly for the first time in by-election on 24th October, 2019.

Languages Known: Hindi and English.
